PROTEON is reliable . . .
THERMAL MANAGEMENT is critically important to achieve the reliability expected from LED lighting.
Extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, are common in high bay environments and can have a negative
impact on the performance of electrical components. Using the most advanced computer modeling available,
our engineers incorporated metal only where it is most efficient. They also used electronics that actively
respond to the environment providing optimal light output without sacrificing life. This fixture intelligence
allows the PROTEON LED high bay to operate in a wide spectrum of temperatures ranging from -13°F (-25°C)
to 131°F (55°C), ensuring years of trouble-free operation.

Aluminum conducts heat three times
greater than steel making it the ideal
heat sink material. The PROTEON
LED fixture uses an aluminumextruded housing weighing 22 lbs.

stress caused by frequent switching
that is common with occupancy
sensors. In addition, slots in the side
of the luminaire allow cooler air to
enter as warmer air escapes through

To achieve optimal performance and reliability,
the PROTEON LED fixture uses a custom light
engine specifically designed for the high-lumen
requirements of high bay lighting.
Electrical components are securely mounted to a removable,
maintenance-friendly tray. Using pluggable connectors, this
sliding electrical tray can be disconnected from the LED
boards for quick removal.
Driver and surge protector are securely mounted
to removable electrical tray.
Harnesses used extensively to connect drivers,
LED boards, surge protector, sensor and
primary power connection.
Dimming and emergency lighting leads located
directly beneath access plate for easy location

LED DRIVERS:
Each LED driver operates with one LED board. This
allows the LED board to send signals to its unique driver
to achieve peak performance.
Drivers operate from 120-277 volts standard. 347V and 480V
options are available.
0-10V dimming leads are standard on each LED driver. Variable dimming
range performs from 100% to 10%.

PROTEON LED high bay has a lower total
cost of ownership compared to conventional
HID high bays. The PROTEON fixture uses less
energy to operate and is virtually maintenance
free so you can achieve a payback in only 2-4
years. This far outweighs the initial purchase
price of the fixture. Add controls to maximize
