Bring your favorite size ruler for cutting yardage and strips. Square ruler, 10½" or larger with 45 degree line. Optional for class, but necessary for squaring-up blocks after all blocks are completed outside of class. 50 wt. cotton sewing thread (I love Aurifil!) to match your background fabric. BSS including anything that will make your classroom sewing experience more enjoyable! FABRIC 1 Jelly Roll or 40 – 2½” strips (Use a precut bundle of strips or fabric from your stash or scraps!) YARDS INSTRUCTIONS 2½ yds To make this quilt, please have a variety of at least 20 different fabrics for a total of 40 – 2½” strips. (Fabric strips can be repeated twice. 40 different strips are encouraged!) Bring all strips to class Cut 5 – 5¼" strips; subcut 36 – 5¼" squares.
