− giving participants an appreciation of the reasons why NEC was introduced and its development
approach of NEC
− explaining to participants the collaborative approach to contract administration on the basis of
comprehensive management procedures and the prominence of the programme in mitigating risk
and prospective time and cost adjustments for compensation events on the basis of estimated
delay and cost
structure of NEC
− explaining the modular approach around the core clauses (essential contract terms) with primary
options (payment methods) and secondary options and other interlocking contracts (e.g. subcontract, professional services etc.)

This module is suitable for all construction professionals who are likely to be involved with NEC Contracts
or who would like to know how this suite of contracts could improve project performance.

Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
The course programme is subject to change at any time without liability.
A replacement is welcome with prior notice to the organizer at no extra charge should the registered delegate be unable to attend.
Refund (less 20% administration charge) will be made for all cancellations received in writing by the organizers not later than 10 working days prior
to the date of the conference.
The course will be cancelled if a No. 8 typhoon signal is hoisted or the Black storm warning is raised two hours prior to start of the conference.
