The Coal Valley Lions held their annual Christmas Raffle
December 6, 2014 at Crabby’s Bar and Grill. The following
people won: Sandy Muse--$1000, Dave Jenkins--$100, Shirley
Winterest--$100, Justin Holland--$100, Corey Gordon--$100,
and Marilyn Swinford--$100--who donated it back to the Lions to

The Lions would like to thank anyone and everyone for all
their donations. Whether it was buying raffle tickets, bringing a
new toy to Joe’s Place to get in a retired basket bingo game,
putting toys in any of the many toy collection boxes in and around
town, donating money for free pictures with Santa, whatever it
might have been we say in a big way THANK YOU COAL VALLEY
we couldn’t do this without you.
I never name names when thanking people because, invariably,
you’ll forget someone and make them mad, but one person that
has to be thanked both publicly and in person is Pastor Tim Snart
of the Presbyterian Church. He is the coordinator with the other
churches for the food for the food baskets, he lets us use the
