THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA at Greensboro, North Carolina: A public, co-educational,

Responsibilities included: Developing and implementing five-year vision and mission, creating budget and
managing fiscal affairs, leading and coordinating strategic planning and curriculum development, supervising
governance, selecting and retaining staff, formulating policies & procedures, and, spearheading fundraising.
Oversaw professional development and evaluation of the staff.

Spearheaded development of entrepreneurship on campus since arriving in 2008. Architect of the crossdisciplinary Entrepreneurship program with 38 courses in 20 departments, the largest cross-disciplinary
program for a college of its size in the country.

Led all marketing efforts and promotions. Authored and managed the entrepreneurship curriculum,
including a major, a minor for non-business students, a minor for business students, and a graduate
certificate in Entrepreneurship (approximately 200 majors and 100 minors).

Received numerous international awards, including but not limited to: Exceptional entrepreneurship
across disciplines, best practices, best research, best workshops, and best interdisciplinary center.

Served as Director the first two years of operation that hosted 18 events and 1900 attendees, while raising
over $177k towards supporting entrepreneurship. Managed a budget of $375k per year and supervised up
to 11 employees at a time.

Created Campus Incubator and Retail Store, which gives students hands-on experiences to jump start their
businesses so they “bridge” to a successful business upon graduation. $40,000 grant secured in 2012.

Won major recognition and awards for delivering presentations to the U.N. European Economic
Commission International Conference, the keynote address at the U.N. Conference on Gender and
Entrepreneurship, and the American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Co-founder and Co-Director of the Living Learning Community in Entrepreneurship and Sustainability.
