What is the network infrastructure like after configuration?
The repeater mode enables you to extend the WI-FI signal
of an existing WI-FI signal in your home or office without
needing to connect an RJ-45 network cable between the
N wireless mini router and your Access Point/Router that is
already installed. By default the N wireless mini router will
use the same name (SSID) as that of the Access
Point/Router whose signal it’s going to repeat.
Once the installation is complete, you’ll be able to
connect to the N wireless mini router or with a wireless
network cable via the LAN port on the N wireless mini
router to access your local network. The password of the
Wi-Fi signal of the N wireless mini router will be the same as

What is the network infrastructure like after configuration?
Router mode is used if you don’t already have a router at
home. In router mode, the N wireless mini router will
automatically assign an IP address to peripheral devices
that are connected to the network. For router mode, the
N wireless mini router must be connected to your
ADS/Modem cable by means of a network cable. In this
mode, you can decide on the Name (SSID) and the Wi-Fi
network password created by the N wireless mini router. By
default, the Security Mode is set to Disabled. You can
change this while you are using the configuration assistant
to protect your Wi-Fi network with a password.

What is the network infrastructure like after configuration?
Client mode is useful if you have an office that doesn’t
have a wireless network adaptor but does have an RJ-45
Ethernet port. Then the N wireless mini router can receive
the Wi-Fi signal from your AP/Router and can share it with
the computer via its Ethernet RJ-45 port. The computer will
thus be connected to the private network. In this mode,
you will only be able to connect to the N wireless mini
router by means of a network cable.
1. Connect a computer to the LAN port of the N wireless
mini router with an RJ-45 network cable to configure it
to Client mode.

Connection to the N wireless router for configuration
To use the device you must have access to a computer
that you can connect to the repeater (LAN) port. It's
preferable to use a computer that only has one network
card with a cable and no Wi-Fi, in order not to be
disturbed by two simultaneous LAN connections. If you use
a computer that has Wi-Fi as well, we would advise you to
shut it down temporarily.
Remove the Wifi repeater device from its packaging and
connect to the power supply by plugging it into an outlet.
Keep the computer switched off. Create a network
between the computer and the Wi-Fi repeater using the
RJ-45 network cable provided.

Start the computer.
Most computers are configured to obtain an IP address
automatically by means of the DHCP mechanism. If the
computer is connected to the Wi-Fi repeater, this will not
be the case. Thus, you must temporarily change the
settings of the network card as follows:
Open the Control Panel
