Marine Corps Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (MCCOOL)
Marine Corps COOL is a program developed in coordination with the Departments of Defense and Labor to assist active and reserve Marine Corps service
members to identify and define civilian credentials that relate to their occupation specialties. This tool outlines the work, training, experience and path required to achieve them.
MCCOOL defines information on occupational credentials which includes certifications, licenses, apprenticeships and growth opportunities. It provides instructions on how to pursue these credentials, provides information how to link
to various credentialing organizations and cross-references to programs that
may assist service members in paying for credentialing fees. It also has links to
the United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP), Marine Corps
Tuition Assistance Program and other related information.
This tool is for Marines that would like to distinguish themselves through professional growth in their field or enhance their transition readiness.
