The Psychological Association of the Philippines-Junior Affiliates (PAPJA) will be holding its 27th Annual Convention on January 23, 2015 at SMX Convention Center, MOA, Pasay City and on January 24, 2015 in Far Eastern University Manila with the theme on “Psychology and Asian Societies in the Midst of Change”. The PAPJA Convention is an annual gathering of Psychology students in the Philippines which serves as an important venue for the sharing of recent developments in the field of psychology as a science, exposure to the practice of psychology through workshops, exchange of ideas, and fellowship. The highlights of this year’s PAPJA Convention include plenary session related to the theme, the Search for the outstanding undergraduate research, Inter-school Psychology Quizbee, Transcendance streetdance competition, Psyclips video competition and workshops that we believe will be very enriching for your students. We invite all of your undergraduate students majoring in Psychology to attend this significant gathering of young psychologists in the making. Please inform your students to wear the official psychology t-shirt of their organization or society on the first day of the convention. In lieu of registration, we will be selling tickets. Ticket sales will begin November 14, 2014. Pre-registered tickets will be sold at 700.00 from November 14December 15, 2014. Tickets will be sold at 750.00 from December 16, 2014 to January 20, 2015. The cost covers participation in the plenary and workshops sessions, kit, and a certificate of Attendance. On-site registration/payment on January 23, 2015 at SMX Convention Center will be charged at 750 (inclusive of plenary and workshop sessions and certificates of attendance but no kit). Tickets are on a first come first serve basis. To avoid inconvenience on January 23, all school representatives are recommended/ suggested to claim their delegates’ tickets and kits upon payment or a week before January 23. Payments can be made through checks payable to Psychological Association of the Philippines or bank deposits in the name of Psychological Association of the Philippines at BPI Commonwealth Avenue Branch, Current Account No. 0421020868. For payments made through the bank, please email to us the deposit slip, name of school and number of tickets bought ([email protected]) to facilitate the slots for your school. Please ensure that someone from the PAP Secretariat acknowledged your payment and reserved slot or you may call PAP Secretariat at 4538257 to confirm your slots. All unsold tickets after December 15, 2014 will be made available to all by January 5, 2015 at 750.00 cost.
