The association of accordion players“MEH” from Belgrade organizes
“THIRD INTERNATIONAL ACCORDION FESTIVAL” with many
aims: to gather young pupils, students, concert artists and teachers
from the country and abroad,to acquaint and exchange different
methods and different approaches to the interpretation of classical
music for the accordion, learn about the latest trends in teaching
methodology accordion, exchange of experiences that are carrying
representatives of various “schools” accordion pedagogues and
accordionist from the country and abroad, and access to the newly
created literature and contemporary trends finest accordion school
- Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Finland, Spain, France,
Germany, China, Italy etc.
OUR OBJECTIVES
„MEH“ is the association for the fostering of academic music, whose
fundamental aims and tasks are:
- Formation of a cultural policy that enables a versatile development
of the academic music creation;
- To present in public the most representative works of domestic and
foreign musical literature and other, through
various forms of actions, and especially through concert, artistic,
scientific and professional activities
- Organization of educational programs and seminars, the concerts of
its members and other artists from the country and abroad,
counsellings and round tables, organization of music festivals and
competitions
- Decentralization of Culture
- Networking and cooperation of relevant institutions and
cooperation with local governments
- Overall presentation and positioning of Belgrade and Serbia as the
leading country in the region in organizing events of this type.
OUR MISSION
- MEHFEST is concept of the search for the young musical talents,
their promotion and popularization of modern modus classical
accordion and its presentation to a wider audience.
- MEHFEST mission is to create new targeted group of audience,
fostering “classics lover”, with special emphasis on youth.
- Continuous call young accordionist, experts, fans of classical music
and the arts from Serbia and the region, through various forms
of activity, particularly through the concert, artistic, scientific and
technical activities, presented to the public at home and abroad, the
most representative works of world and national musical literature
written for accordion. Looking for young musical talents.
- Recognition and promotion of talented pupils.
- Contemporary modus popularize the accordion as a classical
instrument, and it’s presentation to a wider audience.
- The creation and nurturing of new fans of classical accordion with
special emphasis on youth.
- Raising the level of cultural awareness.

The organizer reserves the right to record, publication or further distribution of the entire course of competition.
Login participation takes place no later than 15. III 2015th year, on special form.
Along with application, applicants are required to submit a birth certificate or copy of passport and proof of payment of registration fee (chamber groups and orchestras pay one fee)

CONCERT HALL
Music School “Vladimir Djordjevic” was founded in 1948. Since the
establishment of the school was completed over 8,000 students,
who have won more than 1,000 awards at national and international
competitions. The school is located in Zvezdara municipality
and covers an area of 750 square meters, and has 17 classrooms,
conference hall and ancillary facilities. Formal Hall is one of the
best in town, with a very pleasant atmosphere and acoustics. Music
School “Vladimir Djordjevic” in addition to educational activities, the
number of projects and concerts solidified it’s position as a cultural
center for music education in the municipality Zvezdara.
SECOND INTERNATIONAL
ACCORDION FESTIVAL
MEHFEST 2014.
Competition with over 120 candidates - participants from Serbia and the
region, divided in 15 categories. International academic jury announced
the winners in all categories, and awarded honors winners of the
competition, who received valuable prizes and cash prizes.
Master Class of the renowned professor of accordion Mr. Vojin Vasović,
professor at the “FILUM” in Kragujevac, Serbia.

Concert Nikola Peković one of the best young accordionist in the world.
Nikola Peković (1991) has completed his undergraduate studies at the department of performing artsaccordion, in class mr Miljana Bjeletića. He graduated with a score of 10 and a total average of 9.50 at the
undergraduate level. His third and fourth year of college completed in the school year 2012/2013 with an
average 9.71. This enabled him to successfully implementing his plans about professional development
through writing master studies in Niš (with a score of 10) from the department of performing artsharmonics in the class of same professor. Since February of 2014. he worked as an associate at the FU in
Niš. He promoted throughout the whole world accordion as an instrument of academic, college attending,
his country, and at the end of it as artists, performances and recitals across: Serbia, Montenegro,
Slovakia, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Republic
of Serbian, Canada, Slovenia, China, Belgium, Russia etc. Laureate of many national and international
competitions, and the most important are:
1. place and winner of “WORLD TROPHY” accordion in Spain, 2010th (National trophy),
1. place in the third series of the competition, “I got talent” 2012th,
2. place International Competition in Canada (Victoria) 2013th (Senior),
2. place “WORLD CUP” accordion in Canada (Victoria) 2013th (Senior),
2. place “WORLD TROPHY” accordion in Russia (Samara) 2013th (Senior)

INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC JURY
Vojin Vasović professor at “FILUM”, in Kragujevac, Serbia. In pedagogical
work he has won more than 250 awards at prestigious international
competitions, his former pupils and students are studying at major centers
in the world. He is member of the jury of the most prestigious international
competitions.
Danijela Rakić, professor at the Music Academy in East Sarajevo, Serbian
Republic, five-year study of the accordion has completed in 1994. year at
the Russian National Academy “Gnessin” in Moscow. On the proposal of the
Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, along with her colleague
dr.Zoran Rakić, she worked on the development of curriculum (school
program)for music high school. In the pedagogical work pupils and student
D.Rakić have made a number of significant results.
Zorica Karakutovska professor at the Faculty of Music Art in Skopje,
Macedonia. While she was a student, she won awards at various national and
international competitions. Prof. Karakutovska is still active on the concert
stage - as a soloist, and member of various
chamber ensembles in the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra.
Danijela Gazdić professor at the Music Academy of Eastern Sarajevo
Serbian Republic. As the first master of the accordion in BiH at the Music
Academy of Eastern Sarajevo in 1998. ,she founded the department of the
accordion. Students in her class won a series of special, first and second prizes
in national and international competitions and festivals.
