SSP 302 - Secure

SSP 302
Z-Wave Plus™ Smart Energy Appliance Monitor
SSP 302 enables appliances to be monitored and switched on or off
remotely, via a Z-Wave home automation system. Information on the
energy consumed by the appliance can be examined, together with
the resulting carbon emissions. It also acts as a Z-Wave repeater, so it
can extend wireless coverage and eliminate 'dead spots' by
retransmitting radio frequency (RF) signals, thereby improving
communication reliability within the network.
SSP 302 is available in three different formats, to suit mains outlets
in the UK, Continental Europe or Australasia. It is easy to install, as it
can be simply plugged into any compatible mains socket. A pushbutton on the top of the unit enables quick and simple 'pairing' with
other devices on the network, while an LED indicates network
status. Once paired, the connected appliance can be controlled via
the home automation system. The connected appliance can also be
switched on or off locally, using the push-button.
