Stone & Watkins specialise in designing and constructing bespoke play equipment, treehouses and playhouses of the very highest quality. Our products have found homes all over the world. We can design your whole children’s play area and create a scheme suited to the size and style of your garden. We can also incorporate existing features if required. We will provide scale plans and design drawings following our consultation. There is a site visit fee which is refundable against an order. If you are looking to have a cottage all you require is room for a concrete or slab base to ensure the cottage is dry underneath and access for maintenance. We undertake the deliveries ourselves to ensure every part of the job is completed to our standards. The classic cottage has a fully painted interior and exterior, the colours are up to you! There is a choice of cladding styles to suit both painted and Cedar cottages. Windows and doors on Cedar cottages can be left plain or painted in any colourways. Cottages have a fully painted interior with neutral lino floor covering and come with a reed panel roof as standard. Cedar shingle, slate, clay or Tegola felt tiles are roofing options for finishing off your cottage. A more sophisticated play system can incorporate a whole range of play equipment from climbing walls, fireman’s poles, swings and for a larger garden, walkways, linking platforms and even multiple levels. A roofed platform provides the perfect alternative to a cottage. The sky is the limit! Built from hardwood and other robust materials like stainless steel our hand built equipment will give your children hours of exciting and active play. Standard platform sizes: 9x9ft, 10x10ft, 10x12ft and 2 station platform which consists of 9x9ft + 9x9ft with a 6ft walkway. Your play system can be hard standing on an existing surface or dug in and concreted. These have included shop fronts, sand pits and garden furniture. Delivery Charges Cottage delivery starts at £565 and varies according to location. Delivering a cottage usually takes a few hours depending on site conditions. Platform delivery starts at £995. The average delivery time for a platform is three days, arriving mid morning on day one and finishing early evening on day three. Storage If you are moving or re-designing your garden we can quote for collection, storage and redelivery of your cottage or play system. Storage starts at £37 per month. Shipping Per Crate £240 We make and load all the crates ourselves and can provide you with a quote for the forwarding.
