The summit's purpose is to inform
educators and other school-based
professionals on human trafficking,
how to identify it, and how to
report something suspicious. The
summit will feature human
trafficking survivors and experts
from the OC Human Trafficking
Task Force (OCHTTF), including the
Anaheim Police Department,
Community Service Programs, and
the Orange County District
Attorney's Office. Orange County
cases involving minors will be
shared along with the OCHTTF
victim-centered approach of
working with victims, criminal
prosecution, and addressing the
effects of violent crimes such
as human trafficking on youth
psychological development and
behavior.
