Straw -­‐ from Plough to Thatch Sunday 22nd February A very special film made by Bob and the late John Foster of Badingham. It follows the production of thatching straw from the ploughing of the field to the thatching of a roof Doors open for afternoon tea from 2:00pm Main Film starts at 2:30pm Tea, cake and scones at the interval Film Scones are made on the premises and all cakes are home made. 2:00pm Sun 29 March, the film is ‘Wartime Winter’ with Paul Heine, a BBC series on wartime farming and food. Soup and Sweet Lunch Wednesday 18 February
Come and join us for our fabulous New Year ‘Soup and Sweet’ lunch at
12:30pm on Wednesday 18 February for a bargain £3.00. All the soups and
sweets are homemade and delicious.
An Air Ambulance representative will be at this event and will receive a
donation, as will the Church, from this years proceeds
of the Soup and Sweet lunches.
Doors open 12:00 noon. All ages welcome 0 – 90 +.

Soup and Sweet Proceeds for 2014
At last months ‘Soup and Sweet’ we were able to distribute £1100 from the proceeds of last years lunches. John, Teresa and Sandra would like to say thank you to everyone for their support. The following charities were beneficiaries:-­‐ East Anglian Air Ambulance £360 Bruisyard Church £300 Bike Active £180 Village Hall £260 Winter Party:-­‐ £540 was raised at this event and shared between BSAC and Bruisyard PCC . Thanks to all who helped. Afternoon Tea and Biscuits – every Tuesday
The village hall will be open in the afternoon of 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th
February between 2:00pm - 4:00pm for those wishing to come for a
cup of tea/biscuits and a chat. Bring a board game, artwork, knitting,
sewing or any other craftwork you would like to do or just yourself and
a friend. The carpet bowls will be available as well.

High Speed Broadband Rollout
Representatives from Bruisyard, Cransford, Sweffling and Rendham
had a second meeting on Thurs 22 January with the Director and
Programme Manager of the Broadband for Suffolk programme. This
was to follow-up on the meeting held on 19 February last year. The
