Who are we ?
In 1955 our founder Gérard Bruneau
started making quality garden furniture.
Very soon the reputation of his skill
for making high quality and durable outdoor
furniture became known throughout the little
village of Hawkesbury, Ontario and its
surroundings. Later with the help of his son
Francois they decided to start selling to an
expanding client base.
They did this with the promise to keep the same
high quality standards of workmanship and
customer service that have made their heirloom Gérard Bruneau and his son François
quality products sought after the world over.
Our products are now enjoyed the world over
from Canada, the US and as far away as New Zealand and all over Europe.

complete 10 year written Guarantee on
workmanship! Any broken pieces resulting from
faulty lumber or workmanship will be replaced
by DFC Woodworks free of charge.
Conditions:
Normal use of the product
The treatment is not included in the guarantee
Does not include installation of the piece.
Does not include fissures in the wood due to weathering
All damages or claims resulting from the supply of
defective materials or defective workmanship shall be
limited to the value of the broken or defective material.

Our exclusive Treating process
We are proud to offer only the finest finish available using the best outdoor stain on
the market today. Cetol #1 by Sikkens, Our unique application process that sets us
apart from every one else.
All the pieces get a thorough and fine hand sanding before the furniture
is treated. Then all the pieces are individually immersed in a vat of Cetol #1 by
Sikkens for the first coat application.
All the pieces are then carefully placed to dry and once
dry all the same pieces get a a fine hand sanding and all the dust is wiped away .
A second coat is then applied by spray. The same process is repeated twice more
with finer sand paper used progressively for a full 4 coat application.
As a result of this unique and thorough application process we only provide two color
choices on our furniture, dark Mahogany (045) and light Golden (078).
Cetol 1 by Sikkens is internationally recognized as one of the best stains on the
market. This stain creates a durable flexible film coating that penetrates the wood
surface yet lets the wood "breathe" to accommodate constantly changing climatic
conditions. It will not crack, blister or peel and is an excellent water repellent as water
will bead on it.

The Folding Western Red Cedar Royal Adirondack Chair
Our Royal Adirondack Chair is made with clear full 1” (2.5 cm) western
red cedar. All the pieces are finely hand sanded to a silky sooth finish
before assembly. The seat has a gentle curve and the back is
ergonomically designed to prevent pressure points to the back. The chair
is put together with oversized Stainless steel (will never rust) hardware.
The comfortable seat is a full 22” (56 cm) wide and is made so
that you can easily get in and out of the chair with ease.
The back is nice and tall at 33” (84 cm)

What is a Forever Adirondack Chair?
We are proud to say that we now have made a chair out of the most
durable, hardest and best outdoor wood available on the planet. This
chair is made out of Ipe ( pronounced “epay”) or Brazilian walnut.
The same wood that was chosen for its durability and toughness
against all the elements for the Atlantic city Boardwalk.
This wood has the same fire retardant specs as steel! It is scratch
resistant, termite proof and rot proof. It is 3 times heavier than our
Cedar Royal chair at 87lbs. We use oversized Stainless steel hardware
and all the pieces are finely sanded for that extra smooth finish.
As the wood is very dense it will not accept stain or paints easily and is

Our Titan Adirondack Chair
Is an economical way to get a heavier stronger
and more robust Adirondack Chair.
Ideal for commercial venues like campgrounds and resorts.
Made with solid full 1½” Eastern Red knotted pine.
On demand we can use Western red cedar with this heavier stock.
It can be stained or painted easily and is put together with solid stainless
steel hardware. The arms are made wider than our popular
clear western red cedar Royal Adirondack chair.
It also has extra supports under the arms
as to permit having someone sitting on the arms.
This chair is heavier than our cedar model and
will not topple in heavy winds.
Great for people who want their furniture to look and feel
heavy and solid. As our Titan line of chairs are made out of pine they will
not last as long as the clear western red cedar models.

The “Folding” Grand Royal Adirondack Chair
Specifically designed for taller and bigger people in mind, our Grand Royal
has a seat that sits a bit taller than our Royal Adirondack chair
and is a full 26” wide.
Made with the same attention to detail as our Royal chair, and is made with
full 1” clear western red cedar. All the pieces are finely hand sanded to a
smooth finish and put together with oversized Stainless steel (will never rust)
hardware. With a spacious and comfortable curved seat of 26” (66 cm) wide
and the back is 34” tall.
The Grand Royal makes the most comfortable Adirondack chair for those who
require more room and a comfortable seating. Like our Royal chair the Grand
folds easily for storage.

The 42” (107cm) or the 60” (152cm) tables are 27” (68cm) tall. They are solidly made with a large centre
post and stylized solid braces and large legs to prevent tipping. The tables come with a centre hole so you
can place your favorite umbrella. The centre post can also be weighed down with dry sand to help
stabilize the table even in heavy winds.
Like the rest of our fine furniture these sets can come unstained or treated in dark mahogany color,

Our solid Picnic tables of 42” (107cm) or the large 60” (152cm) can be purchased with
these stylized benches. Each bench can comfortably sit 2 adults or three children.
The benches are solidly made with 3 specially cut legs that are placed in a way to
prevent tipping. The benches are 45” (114cm) long, 12” (30cm) wide and 17” (43cm) high.

high standards as the rest of our furniture with the best western
red cedar available. They are put together with oversized Stainless
steel ( will never rust) hardware. The chain we use is rust
resistant zinc coated steel but can be replaced with stainless steel
chain for an extra charge. Our comfortable and stylized seats and
backs are ergonomically designed to follow the curve of your body
so you can sit comfortably for hours on end.
The porch swings can be bought separately from the A frame so
you can hang them on your veranda or porch. These swings can
