MORE
I need MORE… More time, more
resources, more focus, more of anything
good…. I even need more understanding of
what it is I need more of… Thus, the year
of MORE.
For years I have tried to determine a one
word resolution that makes everything else
make sense. The first year was SIMPLIFY. It
was very powerful and helpful. Last year
the word was WITH… Amazing clarity on
doing life WITH: God, Friends, My Kids,
My precious Wife; it created purpose,
significance, focus, etc.
This year it seems to be unfolding into the
word MORE.
This idea of MORE has already added
clarity to how I function. The new DVD I’ll
be filming this year (see inside) will be a
reflection of what MORE is all about. More
fun, more meaning, more significance…
It is just starting with MORE. Ephesians
3:20 has even popped up several times
already in this new year and it is exciting
to discover what it will mean.

ISMS are those mixed up phrases our friends say that we know are not correct. These are the wonderful
little gifts during our day that make us smile. You need to share them with me so I can share them with
EVERYONE! I tweet my favorites and it brings great joy to thousands of friends that also love hearing

No one is immune from these slip ups…I had a friend call me out on a couple recently.
I actually said to him,
“I just wanted to put that bug in your ear to chew on.”
WHAT!?! My friend asked me to keep my “bugs” to myself and that he had no desire to chew on them.
A comedian friend’s wife has the same condition my wife does.
At Karaoke one night, she made the declaration,
“It is not that hard once you get your FEET WARM.”
What warm feet have to do with your voice and being on stage we have not figured out yet.
One guy trying to avoid conflict told his friend,
“I don’t want to cross his toes.”
Not wanting to cross someone seems normal, but where do the toes come into play? Or WHY!?!!
This guy obviously has some weird foot fetish and should not talk.
Businesses can be awesome for ISMS. A literal ISMS factory if you will.
Just listen next time you are in an office. It won’t take long. Team building is usually beneficial,
But this is just odd.

I guess the Eskimo company version of rubbing elbows is different!
Don’t forget your breath mints before those meetings is all I am saying.
This one may be my favorite of all this go around.
Describing how easy one task would be, the lady actually said,
“It would be a walk in the cake.”
This ISM just takes the PARK! I’ve never personally walked in cake but it sounds squishy and wonderful…
I love cake! I’d imagine if you did decide to walk in cake be sure to NOT cross your toes or chew on a bug
while doing so.

New DVD in 2014
I am filming a new Comedy project in 2014.
There is so much material I have that I’ve never
gotten onto film.
The project is going along with the theme of my
year “MORE.” Check our website for details on the

of decades of finding my comedic voice and who
I was meant to be…I love my life and when you
laugh with and at me on this project you will

Here we grow
Life is crazy and it is not getting easier…But staying connected to my best
friend is. God has not changed since He decided to create everything. The
ability we have today to stay connected to the God of all has never been
easier. Here are two ways I love to keep focused on the right stuff with my
best friend (God Himself).
Man Cave Bible: Dude, this is a great way to get a daily dose of God
directly to e-mail. I get a chapter a day and it takes me through the new
testament in one year. There are days I don’t feel I have time to even read
one chapter so I check out the BLUE highlighted verses and it is the quick fix.
Great tool I use. Man Cave Bible rocks!
Devo to go: This is my main go to DAILY. We live in an APP world! This one
I simply click and listen in my car or at the airport or on a shuttle bus or where
ever I happen to be. Great illustrations, simple, clear truth, immediately
applicable, and all in 4 minutes or less. It is the greatest mind set tool for daily
devotions I have ever seen.
