OFFICIAL RULES (“Official Rules”)
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA
(EXCLUDING QUEBEC) ONLY AND WILL BE GOVERNED BY U.S. AND CANADIAN LAW.
DO NOT ENTER IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE AND LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES OR
CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) AT THE TIME OF ENTRY AND/OR DO NOT AGREE TO
THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

The Look To Book Tic Tac Toe Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:00 AM
Central Daylight Time (“CDT”) on August 19, 2014 and ends at 11:59:59 PM CDT on
September 30, 2014 (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Sponsor’s server is the official clock for
this Sweepstakes.
1. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to employees/affiliates of Travel Leaders who are
members of Look To Book, are legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States, the District
of Columbia, or Canada (excluding Quebec), and are the age of majority or older in their
state/province/territory of residence at the time of entry (“Eligible Entrants”). This is a trade
Sweepstakes and is not open to the general public. Winning a prize is contingent upon
fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Look To Book Terms and Conditions apply;

ion=terms.home. Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Carlson Hotels, Inc.
(“Sponsor”) (other than Eligible Entrants) and Gage Marketing LLC (“Administrator”), and each
of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, or any of their agents,
advertising, promotional and other agencies (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Parties”), and their
immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses) and
persons living in the same household of such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible
to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize. By entering, Eligible Entrants agree to be bound by
these Official Rules and all decisions by the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all
matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes.
2. HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES: To receive one (1) Entry (as defined below) into the
Sweepstakes, Eligible Entrants must complete each of the following three steps during the
Sweepstakes Period (in any order):
1. TIC: Book one (1) Eligible Booking (as defined below) for a client at a Carlson Rezidor
hotel, which is Consumed (as defined below) during the Sweepstakes Period; and
2. TAC: Take and pass one (1) Look To Book quiz on Quizbook at LookToBook.com; and
3. TOE: Confirm, update or add a valid email address to your Look To Book profile on your
“Look To Book” account at LookToBook.com.
For purposes of this Sweepstakes “Eligible Booking” means a booking made during the
Sweepstakes Period by an Eligible Entrant for such Eligible Entrant’s client for a hotel room
(discounted rates such as travel agent rates or award night stays are not eligible) at a Carlson
Rezidor property where the Eligible Entrant has entered the Chain Code CW and Eligible
Entrant’s personal booking name in the SI field at the time of the initial reservation. For
purposes of this Sweepstakes “Consumed” means the Eligible Booking is not cancelled and is
completed and paid for by the Eligible Entrant’s client on or before September 30, 2014. A
reservation booked for or consumed by an Eligible Entrant is not an Eligible Booking. For
avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Booking must be booked and Consumed during the
Sweepstakes Period. All required steps specified herein are referred to as the Entry (individually
“Entry” and collectively “Entries”). Limit one (1) Entry per Eligible Entrant during the entire
Sweepstakes Period. Eligible Entrants will only receive one (1) Entry regardless of how many
Eligible Bookings an Eligible Entrant makes and/or how many Look To Book quizzes are
passed.
Those who do not: follow all of these instructions, provide all requested information, complete all
three required steps, and/or abide by these Official Rules, the Look To Book Terms &
Conditions or other instructions of Sponsor will be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
3. RANDOM DRAWING: Three (3) potential winners will be selected in a random drawing to be
held on or about October 16, 2014 from among all Entries received during the Sweepstakes
Period. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the number of eligible Entries received. The
drawing will be conducted at the office of Gage Marketing, LLC (“Administrator”) at 10000
Highway 55, Minneapolis, MN, 55441. Potential winners will be notified by email, mail or phone
on or about October 17, 2014 using the information provided by Entrant in his/her Look To Book
account. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or
telephone number of entrants. Before being declared a winner, a potential Canadian winner
must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a
timed mathematical skill-testing question. The skill-testing question will be administered by mail
or email. Winners are subject to verification, including verification of age.
If a potential winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if
prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner will be disqualified, prize will be
forfeited and an alternate may be selected in Sponsor’s sole discretion. In the event that
potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to
an alternate Eligible Entrant who will also be selected randomly, even if the disqualified potential
winner’s name may have been publicly announced.
4. PRIZES/VALUES: One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) US$500 prepaid gift card. Value of Grand
Prize: $500 USD/$548 CAD. One (1) First Prize: One (1) US$250 prepaid gift card. Value of
First Prize: $250 USD/$274 CAD. One (1) Second Prize: One (1) US$100 prepaid gift card.
Value of Second Prize: $100 USD/$110 CAD. Gift cards are subject to the terms, conditions and
restrictions set by issuer. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. No prize
substitution allowed by any winner except as provided herein at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, or component thereof, for one of equal or
greater value if a designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.
Total value of all prizes: $850 USD/$932 CAD.
The value of each prize is based on available information provided to Sponsor and the value of
any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes where required by law. For
U.S. residents, all prizes are taxable income to the winner(s) and all federal, state and local
taxes are solely the responsibility of each winner. For Canadian residents, prizes may be
subject to withholding taxes and winner(s) is responsible for reporting taxes on prize won.
Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations.
Limit: one (1) prize per Eligible Entrant/Look To Book account.
5. GENERAL: The Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their respective officers, directors,
employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: (1)
interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed
telephone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures,
Internet Service Provider/network/website accessibility or availability, garbled or jumbled
transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic; including
without limitation the incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate capture of Entry information; or (2)
Entries not received during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or
modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the
Sweepstakes or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration,
security, or proper administration of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor or
Administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination of the Sweepstakes, a notice
will be posted on the website and the random drawing will be conducted from among all eligible,
non-suspect Entries received prior to the time of termination. Sponsor reserves the right at its
sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of his or her Entries) who tampers with the
entry process. Any attempt by an Eligible Entrant to deliberately damage or undermine the
legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is in violation of criminal and civil laws and
should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and
damages from any such Eligible Entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law, including
criminal prosecution. Any damage made to Sponsor’s website will be the responsibility of the
authorized Look To Book account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of Entry.
Automated entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices will cause disqualification.
Entrants may not register with multiple Look To Book accounts, nor may entrants use any other
device or artifice to enter multiple times or as multiple entrants. Any entrant who attempts to
enter with multiple Look To Book accounts or email addresses, under multiple identities, or uses
any device or artifice to register multiple times will be disqualified and forfeits any and all prizes
won, in Sponsor's discretion. In the event a dispute arises regarding the identity of a winner, the
winning Entry will be declared made by the Authorized Look To Book Account Holder of the
Look To Book account used to submit the Entry. An “Authorized Look To Book Account Holder”
is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a specific Look To Book account by
Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to make all decisions, in its discretion, arising out of or
relating to instances of suspected abuse, fraud, error or anomalies in the operation of the
Sweepstakes, or any other interpretation, activity or suspected violation relating to the
Sweepstakes, the rules or official Sweepstakes communications. All decisions by Sponsor with
regard to this Sweepstakes will be final and binding. Sponsor’s decision relating to/involving a
particular matter with an individual Eligible Entrant will not bind Sponsor as to decisions or
adjudications of similar future matters.
7. Releases/Limitations of Liability: By participating in this Sweepstakes, you acknowledge
and agree that Sponsor may collect the personal information submitted by you, and use the
information pursuant to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available online at www.looktobook.com. If you
are selected as a winner, your information may also be included in a publically-available
winner’s list.
Each Eligible Entrant and winner agrees (and agrees to confirm in writing, if requested) to: (i)
release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any liability
whatsoever for any injuries, losses, costs, expenses, or damages of any kind (including without
limitation, all direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential claims,
losses or damages, including lost revenues, profits or good will, all penalties, and all attorney’s
fees, disbursements and costs of suit) resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of
any prize or any item redeemed with such prize or participation in the Sweepstakes; (ii) that
under no circumstances will any Eligible Entrant/winner be permitted to obtain awards for, and
Eligible Entrants/winner waives all rights to claim, attorney’s fees, and indirect, punitive,
incidental, special, exemplary, and consequential damages and any other damages (other than
actual out-of-pocket expenses), and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise
increased; (iii) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with
this Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and
exclusively by the United States District Court for St. Paul, Minnesota or the appropriate
Minnesota State Court located in St. Paul, Minnesota; and (iv) any and all claims, judgments
and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated
with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO
NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and
questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official
Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the
Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of
Minnesota.
By accepting a prize, each winner grants (and agrees to confirm this grant in writing, if
requested) permission for Sponsor and its affiliated companies to use the winner’s name,
address (city/state/province/territory), photograph, likeness, and/or prize information for
advertising, publicity and promotional purposes and to the use of statements made by or
attributed to winner in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or
time limitations and grants to Sponsor any and all rights to said use without further notice and/or
compensation, except where prohibited by law.
6. WINNERS LIST: For the names of the winners, visit
www.looktobook.com/tictactoetravelleaders after October 14, 2014. Requests must be made by
October 31, 2014.

Residents of Canada, please note: Participation in the Sweepstakes will be deemed to be
express consent to receive commercial electronic messages from Sponsor or Administrator,
consent to transfer personal data to the United States for purposes of administration of the
Sweepstakes and consent for personal information to be transmitted, stored and processed in
jurisdictions outside of Canada that may not have the same protections as Canada. Personal
information may be used to: (A) contact Eligible Entrants regarding the Sweepstakes in
response to you soliciting such messages by entering the Sweepstakes; (B) publish an Eligible
Entrant’s name in a Winners List, if they should win; and (C) if an Eligible Entrant selects to
receive additional information, to send additional information to that Eligible Entrant. Eligible
Entrants have the right to access, withdraw and correct their personal data. Eligible Entrants
may request such action by sending a message to Look To Book Tic Tac Toe
