Advice, Information & Funding Service (AIFS) Have you started an Undergraduate Course in January 2015? Due to government regulations on student funding, you will receive your final 2014/15 payment for your first year in June 2015. When you progress to your next year of study, in September 2015, the 1st payment of your 2015/16 student finance, will be paid in January 2016, as the rules state that students cannot receive more than one academic years’ worth of funding during a 12 month period from the start of an academic year (1st January). Students need to ensure that they budget for this period (June 2015 to January 2016).
