GENERAL INFORMATION
X-Zone is designed for youths who have completed grades 5
to 8 in the ‘14-’15 school year. A trip and information sheet
will be provided to participants listing the weekly activities
and explaining any instructions/information you may need.
X-Zone is managed by a qualified staff, specifically one X-Zone
Site Supervisor, two X-Zone Counselors one X-Zone Aide
(college age & older). X-Zone is under the direction of the Recreation Superintendent. X-Zone is open a FULL DAY with OFFSITE TRIPS planned for 4 of the 5 days (Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays). Calendars are available
online or at the registration table.




Mondays are open days on-site where X-Zoners can play
games and participate in on-site activities. Campers will be
offered visits to additional UDT amenities.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday trips will include fun
places such as SkyZone, Dutch Springs/North Star Adventure, Wok ‘n Walk and much, much more.
SUPER SUMMER ADVENTURES (SSAs) will be largerscale trips that have an additional fee. See the list of
destinations in the X-Zone Trip Schedule.
The site closes on trip days! If your child misses the
bus, we will be happy to provide you with attraction
directions. We will not be able to delay the departure or
return the bus.

X-Zoners should provide a bag lunch and beverage from
home each day. Exceptions will be noted on the weekly
activity sheets, distributed every Monday.

Please make sure we have an active email address, weekly
theme sheets will be emailed to participants on the Thursday of the preceding week of attendance. Weekly theme


SCHEDULES can change, up until the morning of a trip—
we will do our best to maintain the “FINAL” schedule, which
will be posted by 5/29. Unfortunately, times and/or location

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
1. Submit registration forms at the UDP&R OFFICE or online at
www.upperdublinrec.net. No registration forms will be accepted
before Monday, March 2 at 9:00am.
2. If registering at the UDP&R office, please fill out a registration
form, available beginning Friday, February 27 at 5p. Be sure to
sign and date the form and submit with FULL payment (cash, Visa,
MasterCard, Discover or check made payable to Upper Dublin
Township). Forms are available in the UDP&R information bins 24
hours per day.
3. Proof of residency may be required before your registration is
accepted or fully processed. If this is the case, you will be
contacted by a UDP&R Customer Service Representative.
4. Parent/Guardian MUST sign the form for registration to be
processed.

We understand that sometimes extenuating circumstances
prohibit a parent from picking up a child on time. However, we
are also concerned with fairness to our staff members; their
days end at 3p. With this in mind, the following LATE PICK-UP
FEES will be charged each day the child is picked up late:

We know that Middle Schoolers are fun, independent and still
figuring out who they are. Trial and error is a huge part of their lives.
That is why we at UDP&R have created an "ACCEPTABLE
BEHAVIOR CONTRACT" that each X-Zone participant, along
with a parent/guardian, must sign. This contract needs to be on
file at UDP&R prior to the X-Zoner’s attendance at camp. The
terms of this contract must be exhibited at all times at X-Zone
as well as on Super Summer Adventure trips (the two are affiliated).
If an X-Zoner is into the “error” stage, he or she will be allowed
"3 strikes" against the Acceptable Behavior Contract. Dismissal
from X-Zone as well as Super Summer Adventures with no
refund of fees paid will result if all chances are used. Please
keep this policy in mind when registering your child.
NOTE: Should a serious violation occur, UDP&R reserves
the right to dismiss the participant immediately with no
refund of fees paid.

Cancellation before 5p on Friday, May 29 results in a full refund
minus $5 Administrative Fee per child per week.
Cancellation until 5p on Monday, June 8 results in a 50% refund
minus $5 Administrative Fee per child per week.
Refund for cancellation after 5p on Monday, June 8 is not guaranteed. Requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and are
dependent upon overall registration numbers. Refunds will be at
the discretion of the UDP&R management team and based upon
years of established precedent.
SSAs have a separate cancellation policy. Cancellation 14 or
more calendar days before a trip results in a full trip cost
refund minus $5 per person. Cancellations less than 14 days
before a trip results in a full trip cost refund minus $5 per seat
for each resold seat; refunds are not issued for non-resold
seats. Refunds are not issued for “no shows” on the day of
the trip or cancellation by any method after the close of business
the business day before the trip.

You have the flexibility to register and only pay for
the weeks your child will be attending, as space permits
CHANGE OF STATUS
If your child’s status or attendance changes due to illness, injury or change
of plans, YOU are responsible to contact UDP&R to document the change.
Please DO NOT rely on staff to alert the office of any changes.
Any exception or deviation from these Cancellation & Refund Policies is at
the discretion of the Parks & Recreation management team.
SUPER SUMMER ADVENTURES (SSA)
Join us for these fun and exciting trips for anyone who has completed
2nd—8th grades in the ‘14-’15 school year. Prices vary depending on
the trip. SSA’s begin on Th June 25 with a trip to Hershey Park and end
on Th July 30 with a trip to The PA Renaissance Faire.
