Safety instructions A GO-KART can be dangerous if not correctly maintained or used. Read this manual CAREFULLY and pay particular attention to the safety warnings and notes. • Failure to follow the safety instructions from this manual can result in your liability in the event of an accident. • Read the hints, instructions or warnings following a "note", or a "warning" CAREFULLY. 1.1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TRACK: •Use the go-kart only on a go-kart track. • Get the track approved. • Make sure the track complies with the rules and regulations of your country or state. • Use adequate track protections that comply with the regulations of your country (Example: protection of poles). • Make sure the track surface is uniform (no holes). Maintain the track properly. • Eliminate all fuel spills and fuel traces immediately. BUILDINGS: • Make sure that buildings comply with the current rules and regulations applicable in your country and (or) state. • Pay a particular attention to the fire hazard issue (new and used tires stock, fuel station, fire security system, and emergency exit). • If fuel has been spilled, clean, and wait for all fuel vapors to be dissipated prior to starting accession. · For indoor tracks, make sure that the ventilation is adequate, and measurement systems of carbon monoxide (CO) work correctly and are controlled at regular intervals. AGE AND SIZE RESTRICTIONS: • Make sure the age and size restrictions are respected, according to the current laws and regulation in your country or state. • Forbid a driver to drive with a size and (or) age below the minimum imposed by the regulation o f t h e s t a t e or track. 1.2 THINGS PROHIBITED TO THE DRIVER: a) Wearing a scarf, hood or other loose or unsecured clothing which could become entangled with the go-kart's moving parts. All such scarves, hoods and other unsecured clothing should be removed. Clothing that cannot be removed should be secured under appropriate protective clothing. b) Long hair sticking out of the helmet. Long hair can become entangled with the go-kart's moving parts and should be firmly secured under the helmet or braided and secured inside appropriate protective clothing. c) Wearing short clothes (skirts, shorts). Use of appropriate protective clothing is strongly recommended. d) Wearing sandals, heeled shoes, or shoes with long laces presenting a risk of entanglement in rotating parts of the go-kart. e) Having health problems especially with a history of f) g) h) i) j) k) l) Heart conditions Head neck or back ailment Nervous disorder Seizure Under drugs or alcohol Not wearing or not properly wearing their seat belt. Getting into the go-kart by climbing on the side pods. 1.3 BRIEFING-COMMUNICATION: • Display all safety instructions clearly. (Panels, boards , videos, etc.) • Before starting the go-karts, have a briefing with all drivers regarding: How to use the throttle and brake and the position of the hands on the steering wheel (10/2) How to drive without using both the throttle and the brake simultaneous. How to lock the adjustable seat (if available), the steering column (if adjustable), and the pedals. How to pass others on the track. The rules of overtaking. The danger of cold tires in the first laps (lack of adherence) The meaning of the flags and the obligation to follow track personnel instructions. The applicable sanctions if rules are not followed, especially in thecase of dangerous driving. • Prior to starting the session, make sure all pilots comply with the safety rules and have understood the safety instructions and signed all papers. ·Always ensure that every driver is properly wearing their seat belts. Failure to properly utilize the go-kart's available seat belt can result in serious bodily injury or death. 1.4 DURING A SESSION: • Ensure safety rules are followed (importance of track personnel, flags, etc.) • Immediately warn, penalize, or exclude all drivers that behave dangerously, aggressive or strange. • Stop or exclude ails drivers immediately who despite the safety instructions, have had long hair sticking out of the helmet, or are wearing loose clothes. • Failure to comply with the safety rules can result in serious bodily injury or even death. • Failure to operate the go-kart in accordance with the safety rules puts the driver and other drivers at a risk of serious or even fatalinjury. • Operating a kart with long hair going past the helmet and (or) loose clothing can result in serious bodily injury or death. • Long hair should be firmly secured under the helmet or braided and secured inside appropriate protective clothing. • Loose or unsecured clothing shouldbe removed or secured under appropriate protective clothing. • The engine generates toxic gas emissions. Make sure that the buildings are ventilated correctly. • A fuel spill can cause accidents or fire hazard. • A combination of heavy pilot, high impact due to aggressive driving induced by aggressive behavior on the track and speed, may bring the engine sprocket in contact with the seat, and lead to injury. Make sure the engine sprocket cover is installed especially if the go-kart has an adjustable seat. 1.5. Quick Check "TIRE PRESSURE" o A damaged rim may lead to a loss of tire or loss of pressure and can result in serious bodily injury or death. Change all damaged rims. o Worn or damaged tires may burst and can result in serious bodily injury or death. Wrong pressures reduce the cornering stability and increase the risk of loss of control of the go-kart. o Cold tires have a reduced adherence, and increase the loss of control of the gokart. This can result in serious bodily injury or death. o Too much grip reduces the stability of the go-kart under impact, and lead to a tendency to go on two wheels. It also increases the risk of turning over. o Store tires in an appropriate area to prevent fire hazard and/or warping. "BODYWORK PARTS" o The rear axle cover helps to prevent contact with rotating parts. The rear axle cover should be properly secured on the kart at all times and should be routinely checked to ensure that it has not been damaged or modified and is in good condition. Operation of a kart with a rear axle cover that is either not properly secured or is not in good condition can result in serious bodily injury or death. o The engine cover and rear axle cover help to prevent contact with hot parts. They should be properly secured. o Operation of a go-kart with an engine cover or a rear axle cover that is either not properly secured or is not in good condition can result in serious bodily injury or death. o A bodywork part with dangerous sharp edges can result in serious bodily injury or death. o Never allow a kart to run with broken or missing bodywork parts, it can result in serious bodily injury or death. "BRAKE FLUID" o o An air bubble in the brake system can lead to a partial or total loss of brakes and can result in serious bodily injury or death. Moisture in the brake fluid may cause vapor lock and a sudden loss of braking power, can result in o serious bodily injury or death. Leaks in the brake system can result in serious bodily injury or death. "BRAKE PADS" o Never operate the go-kart if the brake pads have worn beyond their permitted limits. It is essential to use only genuine Bintelli Karts brake pads. o Make sure the pads are assembled correctly and that the braking system is working e fficiently before operating the kart. o Check brake pad wear daily. "BRAKE HOSE CONNECTIONS" Do not put the go-kart in operation if the braking system is faulty. Faulty braking s ystem can result in serious bodily injury or death. Use brake fluid DOT 4 only. Check connections of hoses, for leaks. "PEDALS" o A faulty pedal system can result in serious bodily injury or death. "FRONT WHEEL PARALLELISM" o Never drive the go-kart with the wheels not tightened, as this may cause a very severe personal injury or death. o Do not drive with bent or broken tie rods, it exposes the pilot to a risk of a serious bodily injury, or death. "REAR WHEEL ADJUSTMENT' o Driving with badly tightened wheel screws can result in serious bodily injury or death. o Exceeding the maximum rear wheel unit adjustment may cause the breaking of the hub, and can result in serious bodily injury or death. "TIRE REPLACEMENT" o A damaged rim may lead to a loss of tire or loss of pressure and can result in serious bodily injury or death. Change all damaged rims. o Worn or damaged tires may burst and can result in serious bodily injury or death. o Wrong pressures reduce the cornering stability and increase the risk of loss of control of the gokart. o Cold tires have a reduced adherence, and increase the loss of control of the go-kart. o Too much grip reduces the stability of the go-kart under impact, and lead to a tendency to go on two wheels. o Store tires in an appropriate area to prevent fire hazard. "STUDDED TIRE REPLACEMENT' A damaged rim may lead to a loss of tire or loss of pressure and can result in serious bodily injury or death. Change all damaged rims. Worn or damaged tires may burst and can result in serious bodily injury or death. Wrong pressures reduce the cornering stability and increase the risk of loss of control of the go-kart. Too much grip reduces the stability of the go-kart under impact, and lead to a tendency to go on two wheels. "CHASSIS CLEANING" If WD40 is sprayed on the brake disk or brake caliper, brake efficiency will be partially or completely reduced, and this can result in serious bodily injury or death. Do not put WD40 into brake pump. 1.6. Safety stickers It is recommended you purchase and install safety stickers on the kart. Because all tracks are different you should make according to your regulations. Control presence and good state of the safety stickers, and follow the instructions mentioned on them. Replace a damaged sticker. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS • Maintain the kart in proper conditions !!!ATTENTION!!! BEFORE YOU SIGN FOR THIS SHIPMENT PLEASE READ: 2. Go-kart Acceptance / Quick Check 2.1. Engine • An engine manual is always given. Please look at engine manual for service questions or specifications for your specific motor. • It is not recommended to change or alter the gas or electric motor. Doing so will void the warranty and can cause bodily harm. Before altering the stock motor it is recommended you contact Bintelli Karts for assistance. 2.2. Delivery • • During the delivery, check the kart is not damaged, and all documents are supplied (user maintenance guide, engine user's guide, spare parts catalogue). Make sure the go-kart and the engine correspond to your order. If you have any damage on any of your karts please make note on the delivery slip while the driver is still there. Please read below for shipping damage process. 2.3 DAMAGED GOODS/LOSS/SHORTAGE • • • • • The Bill-of-Lading documenting this shipment is an acknowledgment by the freight carrier for the receipt of goods from our company in good condition, thus ending our responsibility for this shipment. It is now your responsibility to ensure that everything is received in good condition from the freight carrier you contracted through Bintelli Karts. The Delivery Receipt MUST note any damage or shortage in this shipment BEFORE the Delivery Driver has left your facility. If you are unsure about receiving this shipment due to damage, please have the Driver wait while you CALL a rep at Bintelli Karts for verification. THOROUGHLY inspect this shipment as soon as it is received. All units should be delivered on a pallet. If any extra packages or parts were ordered with your go kart they will be either inside of the go kart box or wrapped on the top of the kart with shrink wrap. If any concealed loss or damage is discovered, NOTIFY the freight carrier at once and request them to make an IMMEDIATE inspection. This is absolutely necessary; unless you do this the freight carriers will not entertain any claim for loss or damage. If the freight carrier or driver will not make an inspection, then make an affidavit that you notified the carrier (on certain date, time, and person you spoke with) and that they failed to do so. Once the driver leaves, the carrier AND Bintelli Karts is no longer responsible for any damage or missing pieces, unless you noted them on the delivery slip. Bintelli Karts will not be responsible for loss or damage outside of our control when you sign a clear receipt of delivery. We are willing to assist you in every possible manner in the claims filing process with the freight carrier. However, our willingness to assist in the claims process does not make us responsible for collection of claim or replacement of the materials lost or damaged during shipment. 2.4. Pedals Driving in ergonomic position improves safety. • Check points: 1. Press and release the brake pedal and throttle pedal to check that they go back to their original position. 2. Check that the brake cable security is well placed and tightened. 3. Check that pedal push easily. 4. Check the fluid brake level. 5. Check the brake hoses, no leak in the system 2.5. Engine a) Engine: 1. 2. Remove the cap of oil filling (1). Fill the oil pan of engine with engine oil for go-kart. For the engine 200cc: 0.6 L For the engine 270cc: 1.1 L For the engine 390cc: 1.1 L 3. 4. Check oil level. Tighten the cap of oil filing (1) and Check there is no oil leak near the oil drain. It is recommended to use 10W30 motor oil b) Reduction gear 1. 2. Remove the cap of oil filling (2) Fill oil pan and fill reduction gear box For engine 200cc: 0.35 L For the engine >270cc: 0.451 L 3. 4. Check oil level Tighten the stopper o f oil filing and Check there is no oil leak near the nuts. Check that the fuel hoses and the tank do not leak and that hoses are ·well connected to the tank. (Carburetor, fuel c:ontainer, fuel filter and fuel pump.) It is recommended to use 10W30 motor oil 2.6. Tire pressures: • Check points: 1. Check the pressure of the front and rear tires: Suggested tire pressures for all tires unless otherwise noted on the tire by the manufacturer. 390 Kilopascals = 56.56471782 Psi 2. Check the tire wear indicators. If any of the indicators is not visible, replace the tire. 3. Carefully check the tires for scrubbing or tears and replace them if damaged. 4. Check the tire rotation direction with the arrow visible on the tire wall. • For tire replacement procedure, refer to chapter Adjustment and maintenance of the chassis, tires change. • For best performance inflate tires according to above mentioned pressures. Bad pressure leads to excessive wear of the tires and degrades the go-kart's performance. • Excessive wear of a tire may be caused by a bad front wheel alignment. Use tires with a grip adapted to your track. • A damaged rim may lead to a loss of tire or loss of pressure and can result in serious bodily injury or death. Change all damaged rims. • Worn or damaged tires may burst and can result in serious bodily injury or death. • Wrong pressures reduce the cornering stability and increase the risk of loss of control of the kart. • Cold tires have a reduced adherence, and increase the loss of control of the go-kart. This can result in serious bodily injury or death. • Too much grip reduces the stability of the go-kart under impact, and lead to a tendency to go on two wheels. It also increases the risk of riding over. • Store tires in an appropriate area to prevent fire hazard. 2.7. Bodywork parts: The bodyworks parts are essential safety components to protect the driver against: Rotating parts - to help prevent entanglement of long hair or loose or unsecured clothing. Stability of the go-kart against shocks- risk of lifting etc... Points with high temperature - to help prevent risk of burns. A screw head that protrudes outside the protections will rapidly degrade the other bodywork parts. Change the corresponding protection immediately. The rear axle cover helps to prevent contact with rotating parts. The rear axle cover should be properly secured on the kart at all times and should be routinely checked to ensure that it has not been damaged or modified and is in good condition. Operation of a kart with a rear axle cover that is either not properly secured or is not in good condition can result in serious bodily injury or death. 2.8. Nuts and bolts: Check points: 1. Check all nuts and bolts on the kart: - Rear hub, wheel, rear hollow axle screws, seat screws, engine mount screws, body, braking, gas and brake pedal screws, steering screws, notched belt tension screws. Check the engine mount screws regularly (because of engine vibration). Check the stub axle nuts and bolts with particular care. Chassis cleaning: 1. The chassis and its parts (with the exception of the brake caliper and brake disk) should be cleaned with the special kart cleaning fluid WD40. This fluid cleans, removes grease, protects, lubricates and protects the rotating parts from damp (stub axle, tie rods, etc). 1. Protect the caliper and brake disk with a dry rag. 2. Spray the kart with WD40 cleaner. Allow the cleaner to take effect for a few seconds. 3. With a dry cloth rub thoroughly the chassis tubes and all fixed parts. 2.9. Front wheel alignment The front wheels may need to be aligned. To do so please follow the below instructions 1. Put kart on stand 2. Place the steering wheel into the center position 3. Loosen the nuts on the tie rod ends (attached picture) 4. Spin tie rod until both tires are straight or according to your track specification 5. Tighten the nuts on both sides of the tie rod Maintenance summary: • Check daily all nuts and bolts and more especially the 36 check points: • Stub axle screws. • Steering rod ball joint screws. • Rear wheel lock nuts. • Rear hub screws • Rear axle screws. • Engine mounts bolts. • Belt adjuster bolt • Seat bolts. • Carefully check worn nuts and screws and replace if damaged. 3.0 Troubleshooting • The kart does not brake: 1. Is the brake pedal free? 2. Is the hydraulic brake pump container cap fully tightened? 3. Is there enough brake fluid? 4. Are the hoses correctly connected? 5. Are the brake pads worn? 6. Is the caliper fully tightened on its support? • The kart brakes continually: 1. Is the brake fluid old? 2. Is the brake disk correctly centered in relation to brake pads? 3. Is the caliper fully tightened on its support? 4. Is the brake pedal too tight? 5. Are the brake pads correctly assembled? • The kart is hard to turn: 1. Are the stub axles tightened to proper torque settings? 2. Is the front axle unit checked? • The steering of the kart is not precise: 1. Are the front wheels tightened? 2. Are the stub axles to torque tightening specification? 3. Are the column plastic supports tightened to torque specification? 4. Are the tie rods correctly assembled and to torque specification? 5. Is the front wheel axle unit adjustment checked? • The kart tends to go to the side: 1. Is the front wheel axle unit adjustment checked? 2. Are the tie rods correctly assembled? 3. Are the 2 tie rods locking nuts securely tightened? 4. Is there a tie rod bent or broken? • The kart slides considerably in corners. 1. Are the tires worn? 2. Are the tires inflated to the recommended pressures? 3. Is the rear axle adjustment suited to the track conditions? • The engine will not start 1. Check to make sure kart has gas 2. Check spark plug to make sure it is in good working order 3. Check to make sure kart has spark 4. Check our gas connections and make sure gas is going to carb 5. Try using starter fluid to get going, if does not start you have no spark or bad carb 6. Check all kill switches to make sure in correct position. 7. Check to make sure if you have remote system hooked to system it is installed correctly 8. Check your pump to make sure it is not clogged a. Please call Road Rat if your problem does continue • The kart hardware continues to loosen and fall off 1. You can apply Locktite to your hardware to keep from falling out 2. You can torque hardware back to original settings • The kart engine will start but when you press the gas nothing happens 1. Check your clutch system. When a clutch breaks the engine will rev but will not move 2. Check your chain or belt drive system to make sure it is not broken • My electric start does not work 1. Operations manual and user guide. OWNER/OPERATOR’S RESPONSIBILITY: • Each owner/operator of an amusement ride or device shall read and become familiar with the contents of the manufacturer's recommended operating instructions and specifications. • The ride operator of each ride shall conduct a daily pre-opening inspection of each ride or device prior to carrying passengers. Documentation of this inspection shall be accomplished by completing Schedule 12.1 Operations Pre-Opening Check Sheet. This inspection shall include but not be limited to the following: A. Prior to carrying passengers, the ride shall be operated for a minimum of one complete operating cycle. B. Visual check of all go karts, including safety restraint devices. C. Visual inspection of entrances, exits, stairways and ramps. D. Test of all communications equipment necessary for the operation of the ride. ·Ride operator/Owner has the right to review a disabled individual's ability to safely operate the kart without other karts being on the track. Only management level Staff member shall approve such demonstration. • The owner/operator of an amusement ride or device may deny entry to the ride to any person, if in the opinion of the owner/operator the entry may cause above normal exposure to risk of discomfort or injury to the person who desires to enter, or if in the opinion of the owner/operator the entry may jeopardize the safety of the other patrons or employees. Customer Rules and Regulations for Safety In order to provide a safe and fun go-kart experience, we have certain rules and regulations for Indoor /outdoor go-kart. This may vary state to state so please see your states regulations. • The following people are prohibited from operating karts: - Pregnant women. - People with a history of: - Heart conditions, head neck or back ailments, nervous disorders or seizures. - People unable to be restrained by the seat and seat belt. - Those with long hair o r a scarf that cannot be secured • If you have a special condition that the operator of this facility should be made aware, please notify the attendant. • It is mandatory that you wear a helmet while driving the go kart. A driving suit is recommended if customers are wearing shorts. NO OPEN TOE SHOES OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED. During the ride it is prohibited to leave the kart. At all times drivers need to stay in the kart and wait for the track personnel instructions. •Drivers should never use hands or feet to move kart by themselves. If the kart becomes stuck on the track during driving session, driver is to raise an arm to signify trouble, and always wait for track staff to assist. • The throttle pedal is under your right foot. The brake pedal is under your left foot. The two pedals (throttle and brake) should not be applied at the same time. Drivers who intentionally bump other karts and/or the barrier system will be signaled to go to the Pit Lane to be reprimanded; a second violation will result in the driver being removed from the track for the day. NO EXCEPTIONS! • DRIVERS SHOULD NOT BUMP INTO OTHER KARTS. Injury may occur as a result. • Driver's hands should be in the position: "ten & two" on the steering wheel, with the thumbs in the intended areas on the steering wheel. Do not come in contact with edges of track barrier system or other go karts while driving. Kart operation could be affected. • Driver is to enter the go kart using the steering wheel, top of roll bar or any combination of the two for support while entering/exiting the seat. The ideal entry position is to stand ahead of the seat on the pan" area or frame work, and hold onto the wheel, driver sits onto front edge of seat, then eases body back into seat. (Do not put arms behind seat for any reason. Contact with engine components may cause burning.) • If any staff member is concerned about a potential driver with disabilities, the staff is to contact the manager. • In the pit-lane speed is to be under 5 mph. • It is prohibited to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. • Long hair should be kept under the clothing, loose fitting clothing should be taken off or tightened and we always strongly suggest wearing a driving suit. • Should you come to a standstill on the track, raise your hand as signal of caution for other drivers. Track staff will attend to you when conditions are safe. • Pay attention to any staff flag signal or track warning light signals. You must follow all instructions from the track personnel. • Always drive in direction determined by track personnel. Never drive against traffic. MEANING OF THE FLAGS: Green flag: Do not apply the throttle before this flag is out. Black flag: Driver is to proceed to Pit Lane immediately, wait for staff instructions. Blue flag: A faster driver is behind you: Ease off the throttle and move off the ideal driving line. Yellow flag: There is a dangerous situation ahead of you. Ease off t h e t h r o t t l e a n d d o n o t p a s s . This flag will be used i n combination with the warning lights along the track. Red flag: Stop immediately, the track is blocked. Checkered flag: The driving session is finished; enter the pit-lane slowly. KART OPERATION: Before operation of go kart, the seat belt should be fastened if you have this option. The GREEN pedal is the ACCELERATOR to make the go kart move forward. The RED pedal is the BRAKE, which is used to stop the go kart. It is important NOT to use both pedals simultaneously, or pedal operation may be damaged, and kart control will be affected. STEERING is accomplished by maneuvering go kart through course at a speed that is appropriate to maintain control. Drivers should maintain their kart within their driving abilities at all times. If any drivers disobey any track personnel signals, it is recommended that track personnel notify appropriate driver of their actions and notify driver they may be ejected from the track if it continues. Drive in control. Do not come in contact with edges of track barrier system or other go karts while driving. Pay attention to all track staff and track warning lights. If there is a problem on the track that causes a driver to stop their kart, raise one arm as a signal for other drivers to slow for caution. 4.1 RECCOMENDED OPERATING PROCEDURES DUTIES OF TRACK ATTENDANT: (WILL VARY FROM TRACK TO TRACK) • All drivers must be 14 years old and must complete a waiver that must be signed by a parent, if under 18. • All drivers must watch the orientation video prior to driving, or complete the briefing. • All drivers must wear snugly fitting helmet, head stocking and appropriate sized jump suit. • All hair longer than shoulder length must be secured under helmet and jump suit. • Perform driver "orientation" prior to each driving session noting driving lines around track, kart operation, safety/warning signals and reinforce the NO BUMPING rule and any final instructions. • Instruct drivers on correct entry/exit methods of go kart. Make sure all safety equipment is correctly used: seatbelt connected, full face helmet properly secured with visor completely down. • Adjust foot pedals and seat for size of driver (if available). • Stagger the start of each driving session by allowing each kart to leave pit area in 2 second increments. Enforce the no bumping rules to stop any driver's bad behavior, warn/eject driver as necessary. When driving session is complete, signal all drivers to pit lane at slow speed. 4.2 PATRON RESPONSIBILITY: • There are inherent risks in the participation on any amusement ride or attraction. Patrons on a go kart ride, by participation, accept the risks inherent in such participation of which the ordinary prudent person is or should be aware. Patrons have a duty to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner while operating the go kart ride, and to obey all oral or written warnings, or both, prior to or during participation or both. • Patrons have a duty to not participate in or on any amusement ride when under the influence of drugs or alcohol. • Patrons have a duty to properly use all ride or device safety equipment provided. • All drivers must be at least 14 years of age and a minimum height of 140cm tall. • All drivers must present a valid driver’s license and sign a waiver of liability prior to operating karts. • The following people are prohibited from operating karts: - Pregnant women. - People with a history of: - Heart conditions, head neck or back ailments, nervous disorders, seizures. - People unable to be restrained by the seat and seat belt. - Long hair, scarf, etc 4.3 EMERGENCY EVACUATION: In the event of a fire, power outage or other condition that would require the evacuation of the facility, the following evacuation procedures shall be followed. 1) Display the red signal flag. 2) Once all karts have come to a complete stop, track attendants should assist drivers out of their karts and direct them to the exit. 3) Track attendants should account for drivers of all karts. Motors - The motors used on the EXB models are maintenance free. Batteries – Check monthly for any corrosion on the battery terminals. Clean as necessary. If not using the batteries for an extended period of time, a battery maintainer is recommended so the voltage of the battery never drops below 12.4 volts. For more information please visit http://www.sevcon.com/ Kart Speed – It is highly suggested that all customers purchase a De Haardt control system for their karts. This system allows the operator to limit the maximum speed that the karts can travel along with having the ability to stop all karts if needed. Most indoor tracks that use the EXB limit the speed to 15-20mph due the size of their tracks not being able to support faster speeds. 1. This limited warranty covers conversions to new vehicles, equipment furnished by Bintelli Karts ("the company") in or upon a passenger go kart 2. The company warrants to original purchases that any defects in materials or workmanship, except as listed in para. 4 below that occur within the time periods listed below ("the warranty period"), starting from the date of delivery, will be corrected by the company at its expense, in a manner described: a. Manufacture Chassis Warranties – Bintelli Karts requires the end user to submit an inspection form (attached) for each go kart within 2 weeks of receiving the order. If any manufacture defects do occur during the 2 week inspection period please submit a warranty request form (attached). If a manufacture defect is discovered after 2 week inspection period please contact Bintelli Karts, items will be addressed and will be taken case by case. b. Bintelli Karts Warranty – Bintelli Karts will warranty the motor for a period of 90 days; Labor for repair is never included. The warranty included is a parts only warranty. Defective parts must be returned to Bintelli Karts before replacement. No additional warranty on non-engine components are implied or included due to the intended use of the karts. 3. Warranty parts will be sent or given to the customer when the original purchaser notifies the company that a defect exists and the company determines, as a result of its inspection or investigation that the defect was caused by improper material or workmanship. 4. The parts only warranty provided by Bintelli Karts does not cover: a. Any costs or charges involved in transporting a vehicle or part to or from the repair facility. b. Any lost revenues to customer due to the defective part(s). c. Damages to any items caused by improper use, unauthorized repairs or modifications, attempts to operate any equipment beyond its rated capacities, or damage caused by lack of proper and reasonable maintenance. d. Any equipment furnished by the buyer (for installation by the company). 5. Warranty repairs listed above constitute the full extent of the company's warranty. There are no warranties which extend beyond those described herein, and the foregoing warranty is exclusive and is in lieu of all other warranties, whether written, oral, implied or statutory. In no event shall the company be liable for special or consequential damages or of the loss of use of the vehicle or loss of time or inconvenience to the buyer. Any disputes arising from this warranty and/or purchase are to be settled in Alachua County, Florida. OPTIMA® Batteries, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that the battery is free of defects in material and workmanship for the time period indicated below. The warranty period for a battery is calculated from the original battery purchase date. The original sale receipt is required to establish proof of purchase and warranty date, and must be provided to an authorized OPTIMA distributor or dealer for all warranty claims. The warranty for replacement batteries will be based on the original battery purchase date, as identified on the original battery purchase sale receipt. Under no circumstance will a replacement battery have a warranty date different than the original battery purchase date. If a replacement is necessary due to a defect in materials and/or workmanship, then upon return to an authorized OPTIMA distributor/dealer for retail store purchases or the OPTIMA Battery factory for purchases made directly from OPTIMA Batteries: The battery will be replaced free of charge, within the free replacement period from date of original purchase. The original battery sale receipt must be maintained for any further claims. OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. will have no obligation under this limited warranty in the event the battery is damaged or destroyed as a result of any of the following events: improper installation; damage or destruction by abusive overcharging; collision; theft; improper maintenance or mishandling of the battery; natural forces such as wind, lightning, hail, etc.; any willful or negligent act; penetration, or opening of the battery case in any manner. Replacement will be honored by an authorized OPTIMA Battery distributor or dealer. You are responsible for paying all of the following costs associated with the replacement: labor for removal or installation; applicable taxes; and any shipping or transportation costs incurred in returning the battery to the distributor/dealer for evaluation. OPTIMA BlueTop Battery Warranty OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. starting batteries used in abusive service or deep cycle applications are excluded from warranty coverage. OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. deep cycle batteries used in series string applications with a battery management system have warranty coverage for 12 months from date of purchase with proof of purchase. OPTIMA batteries used in series string applications without a battery management system have warranty coverage for 1 month from date of purchase with proof of purchase. OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. expects its distributors/dealers to warranty to the original user batteries used within the United States for models 34M, D34M, D27M, D31M; the following Guarantee Warranty: PERSONAL CONSUMER USE 24-MONTH GUARANTEE OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. guarantees to the original personal/commercial user that the above OPTIMA deep cycle batteries will be free from defects in material or workmanship for two years after purchase date. User must promptly report any alleged defects to authorized distributors/dealers, provide the original sale receipt to establish proof of purchase and warranty date, and permit examination by their service personnel. If the authorized distributor/dealer finds the battery to be defective as a result of material or workmanship, they will provide a replacement F.O.B. their location. All replacement batteries will be warranted for the balance of the original warranty period. If OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. finds that the batteries have not satisfied this guarantee coverage OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. will provide replacement credit F.O.B. their factory to the distributor/dealer accepting the claim during the guarantee period. Credit will be the current distributor/dealer price. In no event shall user or distributor/dealer return batteries to an OPTIMA Batteries, Inc. factory without prior return goods authorization (RGA). LIMITATIONS ON GUARANTEE WARRANTY THE ABOVE GUARANTEE IS THE ONLY REMEDY PROVIDED BY OPTIMA® BATTERIES, INC. TO ITS DISTRIBUTORS/DEALERS. THIS IS OPTIMA’S EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. NO PARTY HAS EXPRESS OR IMPLIED AUTHORITY TO CHANGE OR ANNUL THIS WARRANTY IN ANY MANNER. After the warranty period, chargers returned to the factory for repair will be charged a minimum rate of $25.00. Charger will be returned, freight and repair charges, C.O.D. unless other arrangements have been made. This warranty covers all defects in manufacture and performance, provided the unit is operated in compliance with manufacture’s operating instructions. For repairs to be made at the Quick Charge factory, a charger and/or component(s) should be sent, freight prepaid to Quick Charge at: Quick Charge Corp. 1032 S.W. 22nd St. Oklahoma City, OK. 73109 Quick Charge, will at its option, repair or replace the charger or component in question. The repaired item will then be returned, freight prepaid by Quick Charge. This warranty is void if the charger or component have been altered, changed, or repaired by anyone not authorized by Quick Charge, or if the charger or component, have been subjected to misuse, negligence, or harsh environmental conditions. (Except those chargers designed for such conditions) If returning the charger to the factory is not practical, replacement parts may be shipped to the customer for field repair at no charge. On parts such as circuit boards, the customer will be required to return the board suspected to be defective to Quick Charge, freight prepaid. If such defective parts are not returned, the customer will be invoiced for the repair parts. Field repairs are made at the user’s own risk. “Authorization” by Quick Charge to repair refers to maintaining the warranty only. Quick Charge assumes no responsibility or liability for field servicing, and shall not be responsible for incurred travel or labor charges. Quick Charge corporation shall not in any event be liable for the cost of any special, indirect or consequential damages to anyone, product or thing. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. Quick Charge neither assumes nor authorizes any representative or other person to assume for us any liability in connection with the sale of this product. De Haardt shut off systems warrants to the original purchaser that the sysytem is free of defects in material and workmanship for the time period indicated below. The warranty period for a module is calculated from the original purchase date. The original sale receipt is required to establish proof of purchase and warranty date, and must be provided to an authorized distributor or dealer for all warranty claims. The warranty for replacement will be based on the original purchase date, as identified on the original battery purchase sale receipt. Under no circumstance will a replacement battery have a warranty date. If a replacement is necessary due to a defect in materials and/or workmanship, then upon return to an authorized De Haardt distributor/dealer for retail store purchases. 12-MONTH GUARANTEE De Haardt, Inc. guarantees to the original commercial user that the shut off system will be free from defects in material or workmanship for one year after purchase date. User must promptly report any alleged defects to authorized distributors/dealers, provide the original sale receipt to establish proof of purchase and warranty date, and permit examination by their service personnel. If the authorized distributor/dealer finds any module or handheld to be defective as a result of material or workmanship, they will provide a replacement F.O.B. their location. All replacements will be warranted for the balance of the original warranty period.
