COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVING
Driver—with Drive This Truck, based in Springfield, Missouri.
DriveThisTruck is an independent contractor affiliated through Prime Inc., based out of Springfield,
Missouri. Their employees are hired by Prime Inc., as company drivers, but do not have the
responsibility of maintenance or fixed costs. In other words, no payments, fuel, or maintenance come
out of the drivers’ pay, yet they receive all of Prime’s benefits has such as medical, vision, and 401K.
Trainees have the opportunity to become an owner/operator of a brand new 2015 Super Freightliner
Cascadia Evolution in as little as 4 years, at no cost to the driver. Drivers are guaranteed a paycheck
based on mileage and also have access to all of Prime’s benefits including 401k and insurance plans of all
types. Home time is given at a rate of one day for every week (4-6 week minimum) on the road.
Trainees are guaranteed to earn $700 a week during their training period. Training will last approx. 8
weeks (40,000 miles); once out of training, drivers have the opportunity to stay as a team and earn an
average of $1000 per week guaranteed through DriveThisTruck. If they wish at any time, drivers can
choose to drive directly for Prime as well.

 Create a master pattern for each size within a range of logo sizes, using charts, drafting
instruments, computers, or grading devices.
 Draw outlines of pattern parts by adapting or copying existing patterns, or by drafting new
patterns.
 Create a paper pattern from which to mass-produce a design concept.
 Position and cut out master or sample patterns, using water jet, or print out copies of patterns,
using computers.
 Discuss design specifications with designers, and convert their original models of logo into
patterns of separate parts that can be laid out on a length of turf.
 Mark samples and finished patterns with logo size, field name, identification, and gluing
instructions.
 Compute dimensions of patterns according to sizes, considering type of turf.
