Recognized as the most important international competition in women’s soccer, the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ is the largest women’s sporting event in the world. In 2011, the Canadian Soccer Association was awarded the right to stage the 2015 edition of this prestigious competition, as well as the rights to host the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014. As an integral member of the marketing, communications and ticketing team, the Sponsor Servicing Specialist is responsible to the NOC for the implementation of marketing and commercial affiliate activations and events for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ in HOST CITY. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Venue General Manager and/or Venue Marketing Manager in HOST CITY, the Sponsor Servicing Coordinator will be responsible for the following: Work closely with venue and national office to ensure the proper execution, fulfillment and brand protection of FIFA brand assets (includes clean venue), National Supporter agreements and FIFA Official Partner marketing requirements; manage relevant activations in-stadium and off-site. More specifically: o Manage the approval process regarding all regional creative projects and promotional programs with internal and external stakeholders. o Lead event planning ensuring proper execution of National Supporter agreements and FIFA Official Partner Marketing requirements, including management of the volunteers for this area. Support various marketing activities as directed and required in-stadium and off-site that may include, however is not limited to: FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ Youth Programme, promotions and events, marketing operations and administration. Work closely with marketing, ticketing, sales, and communications teams to ensure revenue and attendance goals are met. o Support the sales of group tickets for the official host city; outreach could include telephone calls, visits, or emails to soccer clubs, sport organizations and various companies within their city to educate them on the ticketing and encourage the purchase of group tickets. Required Skills, Experience & Abilities Demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects. Strong relationship management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Minimum of three years experience in marketing and/or sponsor servicing for stadium operations and/or in a live event environment. University degree or college diploma in marketing, sports marketing or related field. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure. Ability to work non-traditional hours. Ability to work well in team environment. Other duties as assigned. Bilingual French and English is an asset. Please Note: No relocation expenses will be provided.
