These shaft offsets are created by designing the valve with the shaft located behind the CL of the sealing surface and slightly to side of the pipe CL. The purpose of these offsets is to reduce the rubbing and thus the wear between the seat and seal to approximately 20 degrees of travel.Vanessa adds a unique third (inclined cone - offset 3) to allow not only camming, but also to completely eliminate all seat-toseal rubbing throughout the valve’s entire 90 degrees of rotation. Depending upon the network standard selected (DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, FOUNDATION fieldbus, AS-interface, LonWorks or Modbus) a dedicated network card is integrated within the enclosure of each PlantNet Control Monitor. They have proved to be extremely reliable, simple to understand and consistently cost effective. These two major network standards readily integrate with PLC’s and DCS systems from various manufacturers, through off-the shelf gateway or scanner interfaces. ® ® Reduced wiring Reduced Installation Cable 2 Core 2 Twisted Pairs and Shield** Distance 100m† 500m 1200m/segment 1900m/segment 62 - AS-i 2.1 63 32/segment, 126/network 12/segment, 5 segments/system* 167Kbs 125Kbs/250 Kbps/500 9.9, 19.2, 93.75, 187.5, 500, 1500, 12000 kbps 31.25 Addresses Speed Topology Trunk, Tree, Star, Drop Trunk, Drop 2 Twisted Pairs and Shield** Daisy chain 1 Twisted Pair Daisy chain, trunk/drop (spurs), branching drop (spurs), point-to-point Inputs 2 2 4 4 Outputs 1 1 2 2 Diagnostics No Yes Yes Yes Redundancy No No No Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes On/Off Modulating Control No Yes Yes Yes Electric Actuator Yes Yes Yes Yes Pneumatic Actuator Yes Yes Yes Yes G.P./Class I Div. 2 G.P./Class I Div. 2 G.P./Class I Div. 2 G.P./Class I Div. 2 Gateway Scanner Card Scanner Card Scanner Card Will communicate with higher level fieldbus via a gateway, ie.
