March 6 & 7, 2015
Program Purpose: This annual conference is designed to provide
nurses, emergency medical and rescue personnel with current
information related to emergency medical services for prehospital and ER emergencies.
Intended Audience: First responders, EMR’s, EMT’s, paramedics,
nurses, firefighters, police, dispatchers, educators, public safety
and other healthcare professionals.
Accreditation:
EMS: All EMS personnel will be granted continuing education hours by Western Iowa Tech Community College, under the
guidelines of the Iowa Department of Public Health/EMS (CEH’s).
Nursing: Upon completion of each day’s programming nurses will be granted continuing education contact hours by Western Iowa Tech Community College, an Iowa Board of Nursing
provider of continuing education for nurses. Iowa Provider #21.
No partial credit will be granted. Full-day attendance is a requirement to receive credit.

 Conference Etiquette: Participants are asked to turn off
cell phones and beepers when attending sessions or
change them to a silent signal, if necessary. Please step
outside the room when responding to a page or call. Children or infants are not permitted in the educational sessions. Out of respect for all participants, please keep personal conversations to a minimum.
 Please dress in layers. Personal preferences vary and
room temperatures may fluctuate.
 Parking is free in the Sioux City Convention Center lots.
Additional parking is available in the city parking ramps.
 We encourage participation by all individuals. If you have
a special need, please notify us as to how we can serve
you at 712-274-8733 ext. 1286 at least 2 weeks in advance of the program. WITCC does not discriminate in its

by various conference vendors in the form of exhibitor

 The Emergency Conference 2015 Committee reserves
the right to cancel the conference. If cancellation is necessary, registrants will be notified by phone or email.
Cancellation due to inclement weather will be announced over radio and television. A full refund will be
made if the Emergency Conference 2015 Committee cancels this conference.
