THEME: “ENRICHING MEDICAL EDUCATION THROUGH USE OF MODERN
EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES"
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To discuss emerging technologies that affect medical education and how medical schools in the
Philippines can apply it in their own setting.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the convention, the participants should be able to:
1. Discuss the emerging technologies and their impact on medical education.
2. Discuss the available technologies that can be used in medical education.
3. Use evaluation frameworks to select technologies appropriate to the university,
Course and faculty
4. Describe how medical schools can best integrate these technologies in their own
setting.
5. Discuss how the members of the medical faculty can be prepared in teaching
millenials for the changing role of instructional technology.
