Guzman y Gomez was founded in 2006, and created to introduce
Mexican food and Latin culture to the world.
Mexican food is, in fact, amongst the most diverse in the world.
“Region by region Mexico has one of the most unique cooking
styles,” says Steven Marks, Founder of Guzman y Gomez.
Mexican cuisine is primarily a fusion of indigenous Mesoamerican
cooking with European, especially Spanish, elements added
after the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire in the
16th century.
The cornerstones of Mexican cooking are rice, beans, chili and
corn. “The Guzman y Gomez menu is built on traditional Mexican
flavours and made from only the highest quality ingredients,”
says Mr Marks.
