cycle of oil and gas extraction and refining, producing a wide range of petrochemical

ABOUT ZIC OILS
ZIC BACKGROUND
In 1995, SK started producing its ZIC high-tech lubricating motor oils. Today ZIC
is one of the world top brands and is among top performers by the
volume of engine oils imported to Russia.
The unique properties of ZIC lubricating oils are ensured by the advanced oil refining
technology - catalytic hydrocracking and hydrodewaxing. These technologies are
employed to produce base oils of very high viscosity index (VHVI). The hydrocracking
and hydrodewaxing procedures cause the designed change of oils’ molecular
composition, thus dramatically improving characteristics of the base oil. YUBASE base
oils (base oil brand produced by SK Lubricants) production technology is recognized
world-wide and patented in 23 countries.
