Athletic Skills Camps for Speed, Agility, Strength, and Acceleration – The Camp is scheduled to take place HERE in the HS Gym, March 9th – 20th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Cost is $85 per Student-Athlete (payable to: Apex Athletic Performance). Registration and Liability Forms are available in the high school office. Badger Boys and Girls State is a time for juniors from around the state to come together for a few days, on a college campus, and learn about our system of government through a variety of educational and fun activities. And there is no cost to the student, as we are lucky to have community sponsors that provide the necessary funds. Badger Boys State is held at Ripon College on June 13-20. ATTENTION JUNIORS and SENIORS: Pharmacy Preview Day for High School Students – Saturday, April 18, 2015 – This is an annual outreach event for high school students who are interested in learning more about the pharmacy career and the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program at UW-Madison. High school students and their guests will have the opportunity to explore the facilities, engage in lab demonstrations, and connect with School of Pharmacy faculty, staff and current students. ATTENTION JUNIORS and SENIORS: Pharmacy Summer Program (PSP) – August 6-8, 2015 (Application attached) This is a new three-day residential summer program for rising high school juniors and seniors interested in exploring pharmacy careers, the UW-Madison Doctor of Pharmacy program, and the UW-Madison campus. PSP activities include compounding lab activities/demonstrations, therapy lab activities/demonstrations, faculty/student panels, pharmacy tours, admissions info-session, etc. The Pharmacy Summer Program is intended for underrepresented students in the health sciences. High school students who identify as African-American/Black, Native American/American Indian, Latin@, Laotian, Vietnamese, Hmong, and/or Cambodian are especially encouraged to apply.
