Waterbrook is almost here and the interest this year has been extraordinary. We hope to see as many members as possible entering and getting involved in this exciting exhibition. Val Watson and Anne Ware are gradually getting their heads around the processes involved in the running of the programs on offer. This has been a big ask as they have only been members for a short time. We are very grateful that they are so willing to take on the responsibility of 2 of the major tasks and are still smiling. The position of newsletter editor is vacant. This does not have to be a committee role. It involves putting together the various reports which would be sent to the editor and presenting it all in a professional manner. When it is completed it is then sent to the secretary who will send it out to all members and art societies. If there is any member with competent computer skills who would like to give it a go I would love to hear from you. The committee has acted on the 2014 Members’ Exhibition evaluations. It is now the September Members’ Exhibition and will be held on the second weekend 11th – 13th. This will allow the planning sub-committee enough time to pull together the 2015 Members’ exhibition and build on the 2014 success. There will not be an August Gallery Weekend.
