Brief Scope
University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) was
established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State
Legislature of Uttarakhand. It is Asia’s first core sector University
and actively involved in the R&D activities towards development of
biofuels, bioenergy and alternative energy sources.
Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA)
an agency of Government of Uttarakhand, plays leading role in
development of the renewable energy sector inline with the
guidance of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy and the
conductive platform for the promotion of energy conservation.
NCBB 2015 would provide a platform to the experts from all over
the country to showcase their innovative findings toward the
advances in the“Biofuels & Bioenergy”.
This conference thrives to provide a good platform for young
scientists, engineers, research scholars and students to exchange
their thoughts and ideas, as well as to expand the knowledge
database on energy harvesting.
Organisers of conference invite the fertile minds from Academia,
Government as well as Industrial sectors.
