NEXT WEEK’S FRIDAY ASSEMBLY; SIR ROGER BANNISTER Friends and Family AGM A big thank you to everyone that attended the Annual General Meeting today, it is lovely to see so many new parents / families showing an interest and support for our Friends and Family committee. A new committee has been elected. Please look out for the first Friends and Family information letter which will be sent out after the half term break. PARKING - POLITE NOTICE We have had several incidents this week where inconsiderate members of the school community have parked in front of school entrance and exit gates. Please consider the fact that we may need to use those gates AT ANY TIME as access for emergency vehicles. - IT COULD BE YOUR CHILD IN NEED PLEASE DON’T PARK IN FRONT OF THESE GATES AND PLEASE RESPECT ANY MEMBER OF SITE STAFF REQUESTING YOU TO MOVE ON IF YOU DO SO WRITING COMPETITION for ALL! CAN YOU WRITE A MAGICAL ADVENTURE STORY? The writing competition, which was launched in this morning’s assembly, Is linked to world book week. A letter will be issued today about what the children have to do. The winners will be chosen from year groups and key stages. The prize is a book which the children will pick themselves.
