The annual conference offers an opportunity for early childhood administrators and providers

Registrations can be processed and paid for online by credit card, or mailed
in with a check or money order.

There are NO pre-assigned sessions. You select the sessions to attend the
day of the conference, as long as there are open seats.




Lunch is included in the registration fees.
All sessions are approved for clock hours in KS and MO.
Reduced rates apply for participants registered before April 11, 2015.
NAEYC members receive additional discounts on their registration.



You will pick up your final program at the Institute
Special Group Discounts
A special 10% discount is possible for Centers who send 10 or more participants. To be eligible for
the discount the following is required:




A cover letter indicating that you are requesting the special discount rate and a list of all the
individuals included in your discount
Completed individual registration forms for all the individuals attending
The letter, registration forms and payment must be included in one (1) envelope.
This request can only be granted if all requirements are met.
The Raffle Returns (No silent auction !)
A special raffle will include toys and classroom learning materials as well as special themed “baskets”.
All items will be on display during registration and through lunch, with a drawing to be held Saturday
afternoon at the closing session. You must be present to win! Transportation of all materials is the sole
responsibility of the winner and all items must be picked up that day.
How to Purchase Advance Raffle Tickets:




The easiest way is to add the amount to your Institute registration fee. Each raffle ticket is a
$1.00 donation. The best value (and best chance to win) is to purchase 6 tickets for $5.00!
You will receive your tickets in your packet the day of the Institute. Then, just turn the tickets in to
the Mid‐America AEYC booth in the Exhibit Hall when you arrive.
You can also purchase tickets on the day of the Institute at the Mid‐America AEYC booth for the
same price: $1.00 per ticket or $5.00 for 6 tickets.
All proceeds go to programs that support Mid‐America AEYC members in their professional
development..

 Membership numbers will be verified through the NAEYC database for current status. Expired

Membership is in the name of the individual. Directors cannot use their membership number for
their staff.
MO Professional Development ID#
The Missouri professional development system now requires conference attendance to be recorded
electronically at the conclusion of the conference. If you live or work in MO it is recommended that
you acquire a MOPD ID#. If you work in Missouri and YOU DO NOT PROVIDE A MOPID
NUMBER WHEN REGISTERING, YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE CLOCK
HOURS for your attendance.

TIMES: Conference hours are 8:30-4:00. Check-in and onsite registration is from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
P ARKING : Free parking is provided in the college parking lot. Follow signs upon arrival.
P HONE A SSESSIBLITY : Phone accessibility in the underground area is limited to Sprint
connections and wifi with some other carriers. The Campus Safety phone number, in
case of emergency during the conference, is 816-584-6444.
C ORE C ONTENT A REAS AND CDA S UBJECT AREAS
In the final conference brochure all conference sessions will be identified by the Kansas/Missouri
Core Competencies, and the CDA Competencies
IN-SERVICE AND CDA HOURS
You will receive 5 clock hours of in-service training for attending the entire day.
SESSION ASSIGNMENTS
There are NO pre-assigned sessions. You may attend any session; where seating is available

Registration Information
 Members enjoy a $15.00 savings over non-members rates.
 Registration fee includes a pre-ordered box lunch on Saturday.
 Payment may be made online with a credit card using PayPal as the approving agency.
Registrations may also be mailed in with cash, check, money order, or business PO.
 Make checks payable to Mid-America AEYC. Your cancelled check is your receipt.
 To receive an email confirmation that your registration has been processed, please
include a valid email address on the registration form. Emails will be sent out biweekly after March 1
 PO’s will be processed with original count as submitted. No credit will be given after the
conference for absences.
 No refunds of registration fees.
 Use one registration form per person. Form may be duplicated and is also available on the
Mid-America AEYC website as a printable PDF. (www.mid-americaaeyc.org )
 To ensure correct spelling of name on nametag, please print clearly.
 If you live or work in Missouri, you MUST INCLUDE you MOPD ID# on the registration
form to receive your in-service hour credit for your attendance.
