The first two are practical hands on basic skill carousels where participants are taught how to perform compression, thermal and non-thermal superficial venous interventions (Master Class I) or deep venous reconstructions, such as thrombolysis, thrombosuction, stenting and ambulatory compressive bandaging (Master Class II). Master Class III is a plenary session on advanced ultrasound diagnostics during which class participants are taught how to perform advanced ultrasound diagnostics in superficial and deep venous pathology. All Venous Master Classes are organized on Sunday and Monday and start at 15h00 and last until 18h00. There is an additional fee of 40 € / Master Class and preregistration is strongly advised because off the limited capacity. Therefore there is an urgent need for a multidisciplinary approach. In this Collaborative Learning session, the presenters will share their experiences with you. During this symposium different cases will be presented to you in an interactive fashion, from a multidisciplinary point of view. This cooperation between the different disciplines is an advantage not only for your patient but also for you as a professional dealing on a day to day basis with this kind of pathologies and will enhance the position for your discipline.
