New Berlin Eisenhower, West Excel in Scholastic Art Awards
Artwork is on display at Milwaukee Art Museum through March 22
New Berlin, Wis. – School District of New Berlin students won regional Scholastic Art Awards for 55 works of
art, and 11 art pieces will advance for possible national recognition.
New Berlin Eisenhower students won 7 Gold Key Awards, 8 Silver Key Awards and 23 Honorable Mention
Awards. New Berlin West students won 4 Gold Key Awards, 1 Silver Key Award and 12 Honorable Mention
Awards.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards (www.artandwriting.org) have been recognizing student talent annually
since 1923. This year, more than 375 Wisconsin students in grades 7-12 were awarded Gold and Silver Keys
and will have their artwork displayed at the Milwaukee Art Museum through March 22, with an awards
ceremony on Feb. 14. Gold Key Award winners will be considered for National Gold or Silver Key Awards.
Congratulations to all of our middle and high school students who won Scholastic Art Awards! Thanks to our
