OBJECTIVES
The four assessment objectives for Literature and Performance are:

Knowledge and understanding of texts from different genres and cultures. As a consequence, students are
to demonstrate

(c) An ability to substantiate the points made through appropriate references to texts

IB SPORTS, EXERCISE AND HEALTH SCIENCE SL
The course in Sports, exercise and health science involves the study of the science that underpins physical performance. The course
incorporates the traditional disciplines of anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, psychology and nutrition, which are studied in the context of
sport, exercise and health.

The assessment is for class students enrolled in the HL & SL Course in year 11 only (60% Exhibition, 40% Process Portfolio).
An additional task is introduced in year 12 worth 20%.
Currently all the Visual Arts students are enrolled in the HL course in Year 11.
There are two formal assessment periods for reporting purposes.
