JOURNAL OF Environmental Health Dedicated to the advancement of the environmental health professional ABOUT THE COVER The author of this month’s cover feature, “Foodborne Illness and Seasonality Related to Mobile Food Sources at Festivals and Group Gatherings in the State of Georgia,” wanted to address a gap in the literature concerning the connection of location and season to pathogens and impacts of foodborne illness. The author found differences in foodborne illness frequency depending on season as well as location. Based on the results of the author’s study, prevention strategies should target specific pathogens during seasons and at venues more likely to see outbreaks. See page 8.
