program, more than $10 billion
• Four discrete Phases
 Phase 1 – Project Scoping Study (completed);
 Phase 2 – Mounted Combat Reconnaissance Capability
(ASLAV Replacement);
 Phase 3 – Mounted Close Combat Capability (M113 replacement
and manoeuvre support vehicles); and
 Phase 4 – Integrated Training System
• The scope and provisions for Phases 3 and 4 will be confirmed in the
2015 Defence White Paper

Comprehensive engagement with over 100 companies for more than
four years through:
 National industry events (LFC and LEWG);
 State-based forum presentations; and
 Industry network presentations (AIDN, ICN)
DRAFT documents were released in September 2014 to:
 assist industry in understanding what the Commonwealth seeks
prior to formal release of solicitation documentation
 assist industry in finalising any teaming arrangements
 assist industry in commencing ITARS / TAA process
 allow for a reduced tender response and evaluation period
