That is the Lake Erie Islands, or as close as we can get in February. Visit Castaway Bay, Sandusky for a weekend of fun and get your boating fix on during this long, cold winter. And all of this brought to you at last year’s prices, too!! Friday night February 20th begins your Winter Rendezvous with our own limo service from the Castaway Bay Hotel over to the Clubhouse Party starting at around 6:00 pm. With wine, beer, and soda all provided; please let Pete drive you back and forth safely to the hotel. Jerry Parsons and his Sandusky Harbor crew will be providing all of the food for the evening. A big Thank You for that; we have a wonderful, continuing relationship with our marina. Wear your best island apparel (win a prize) and feel the sand between your toes as we celebrate old friendships and get to know new members better. We have been promised sleeping rooms away from the poolside areas, but water park admissions are available at special pricing. The food and service at Castaway Bay are great and you always have a good time with your HBYC friends. Music for dancing will be provided by JD Owens after the Change of Watch festivities. Seminars with boating interest topics are being scheduled with representatives from the marina management, ODNR, and others.
