INDIA INTERNATIONAL FILM TOURISM CONCLAVE
It is a well-known fact that film makers are always
looking for new exciting locations to shoot, while
countries around the world welcome film makers
in order to boost inbound tourism.
India International Film Tourism Conclave (IIFTC)
is India’s premier Film Tourism event.
Feature Films establish a connect with audience
at an emotional level and thereby creating a
favorable image and sense of familiarity for the
locations where it is shot. Don (Malaysia), Zindagi
Naa Milegi Dobara (Spain), Rockstar (Prague),
Cocktail (South Africa) are some recent examples
of successful film tourism.

Promoted by Film Federation of India in
association with Mercury Integrated, IIFTC is a
trade promotion event to facilitate interaction
between film commissions and tourism boards
with the Indian film industry
It is a B2B platform for film commissions and
related organisations, to meet and interact with
the prominent representatives from the film
industry in India to promote their locations and
services for the purpose of film shoots.
INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY
India is the world’s largest film producer,
producing over 1700 films per year
Tamil (286), Telegu (280) and Hindi (255) are
three largest film producing languages.
Chennai (Tamil), Hyderabad (Telugu) and Mumbai
(Hindi & Non- Hindi) are the 3 largest film markets
in India producing 1148 films in 2013

IIFTC has successfully
completed six events
since February 2013
across three major film
markets in India to
become India’s premier
film tourism event.

Oman, Egypt, Fiji,
Cyprus, Namibia to
name a few.
