How the Proterra TerraVolt™ Fast - Charge configuration works:
The Proterra TerraVolt FC Fast-Charge configuration process begins with the use of our
advanced route simulation model. For any given route, we can tell you which Proterra
Catalyst configuration works best for your route(s), how much on-board energy storage
you’ll need, how often you’ll need to charge, and how the bus will perform in its best and
worst possible conditions. As a result, we’re able to offer a custom- tailored configuration
designed to maximize your return on investment.
Once we’ve determined that the Proterra TerraVolt FC Fast-Charge configuration is best
suited for your transit needs, we’ll work together to determine the appropriate quantity
and placement of the on-route, fast- charger(s) and the best way to integrate on- route
charging into your existing daily operations.
