Annual
Technology
& Business
Conference
This year’s Annual Conference theme truly captures the essence
of NCPDP. Imagine sitting in a room with competitors as well as
colleagues, where you leave your personal business interests
at the door but bring your perspective, knowledge, expertise
and creativity to bear on the most complex issues. That’s what
NCPDP members do every time they come together to develop
consensus-based solutions for the good of the industry, and
ultimately, patients.
Attendees at NCPDP’s Annual Conference also come together to
share diverse perspectives while learning more about cuttingedge solutions, industry trends, and how to prepare for
shaping the next wave of innovation.
We are excited once again to welcome NDEDIC, our dental
affiliate, which will co-locate its 2015 EDI Summit with our
2015 Annual Conference, giving conference attendees the
opportunity to network with dental EDI professionals during the
Solutions Marketplace, keynote and featured speaker sessions,
and closing night Rendezvous networking event.
Our signature work group meetings, the industry standard for
solving health information exchange and patient safety issues,
will be held immediately before the conference opening.

Motivational Speaker and Author
Keynote &
Featured Speakers
Wednesday, May 6, 2015,
12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Luncheon
Sponsored by: Elsevier
Featured Speaker
Alexandra Drane
Co-Founder, Chief Visionary
Officer & Chair of the Board
of Eliza Corporation
Wednesday, May 6, 2015,
8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Sponsored by: Argus
Health Systems, Inc.
In her most recent role,
Drane served as chief
visionary officer and
chair of the board of Eliza
Corporation and was named
one of Disruptive Women
in HealthCare’s Women to
Watch in 2014. She is a leader who believes that big challenges
require big risks – as well as the humility to understand when
something isn’t working, and to learn from those experiences.
Drane is one of the most sought-after speakers and has
keynoted at high-visibility industry events, including TEDMED,
Health 2.0, Strata Rx, MedicineX and more.
Our 2015 Annual Conference keynote speaker is stimulating
communicator, Carey Lohrenz, the first female F-14 Tomcat
pilot. Her experience working in fast moving environments
requiring split second decision-making skills, where inconsistent
execution can generate catastrophic results, has led to her
mastery of the fundamentals that can help any team triumph
swiftly under pressure, in high-risk situations.
Lohrenz is uniquely qualified as both a motivational and
inspirational speaker who focuses on the importance of fearless
leadership and team performance. Her experience in the allmale environment of fighter aviation and missions completed
worldwide as a combat United States Navy pilot has enabled
her to share valuable lessons learned with personal insight from
a credible platform.
Lohrenz is the author of Fearless Leadership: High-Performance
Lessons from the Flight Deck, where she walks readers through
the three fundamentals a leader must possess to exhibit real
fearlessness: courage, tenacity, and integrity. Since leaving the
Navy, Lohrenz has worked with thousands of business leaders,
from Fortune 500 executives to middle managers, helping
countless teams flourish.
An attendee favorite returning once again this year!
