CFO responsible for directing all financial activities associated with managing over
$14 billion in annual access expense in support of Consumer and Business Service
Customers. Responsibilities included supporting a staff of 250 people in the strategic and
financial planning, competitive analysis, financial analysis and billing arenas. Extensive
time was spent providing accurate financial counsel to the Executive Team in the areas of
strategic planning, market development and operational decision making.
Financial Controller responsible for managing an $8 billion annual budget in support of the
Consumer Marketplace. Primary focus was on the full range of financial management
analysis, which included business planning, competitive assessments and financial results
tracking.
Project managed across AT&T Business Market Organizations, all voice grade services.
Working closely with the Product Development Team, the Sales Workforce, and the
Marketing organizations, this job was directly responsible for the provisioning and
deployment of these services to the business community
Selected by the Executive Vice Presidents of AT&T as one of fifteen managers corporate
wide to participate in a one year corporate Executive Training program at AT&T Bell
Laboratories. The assignment was geared to accelerated technical education in the areas of
telecommunications research and development
Held a variety of Staff Management positions in these organizations with significant
accomplishments in the following areas:

An integral member of the AT&T transition team during the divestiture of the Bell
System. Accomplishments include the design and implementation of the various
financial tools utilized by the Local Exchange Carriers to ensure compliance with the
Federal Communications Commission’s divestiture rules.

Responsible for the design, software development and testing of the cost models used
by AT&T in the successful defense of the Southern Pacific Antitrust suit. Aggressively
worked with various departments, including Legal, Regulatory and Financial
Organizations in the development of critical financial data to support AT&T’s strategy
Designed, implemented and tested the main-frame and mini-computer based software to
support data communication between AT&T facilities. In addition, was responsible for the
software enhancements to maintain White Page and Yellow Page Directories used by
customers nationwide.
