The assignment was geared to accelerated technical education in the areas of telecommunications research and development Held a variety of Staff Management positions in these organizations with significant accomplishments in the following areas: An integral member of the AT&T transition team during the divestiture of the Bell System. Accomplishments include the design and implementation of the various financial tools utilized by the Local Exchange Carriers to ensure compliance with the Federal Communications Commission’s divestiture rules. Responsible for the design, software development and testing of the cost models used by AT&T in the successful defense of the Southern Pacific Antitrust suit. Aggressively worked with various departments, including Legal, Regulatory and Financial Organizations in the development of critical financial data to support AT&T’s strategy Designed, implemented and tested the main-frame and mini-computer based software to support data communication between AT&T facilities.
