Eastern Zone Regional Agriculture Fair at Central Potato Research Station, Patna Central Potato Research Institute, Shimla in collaboration with Indian Potato Association is going to organize Eastern Zone Regional Agricultural Fair at CPRS, Patna during 19-21 Feb., 2015 sponsored by Directorate of Extension, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Govt. of India. The theme of this mela is “Horticulture for rural livelihood security for Eastern Plains of India”. This will be a three days mega event in which ICAR Institutes, State Agricultural Universities and private firms working in the field of Agriculture will be participating and putting up their stalls to display as well as demonstrate the improved technologies/products to the farmers of the eastern region of the country. More than 10,000 farmers from different districts of Bihar and neighboring states like West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha are likely to participate in this fair. Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture, Sh. Radha Mohan Singh Ji is likely to inaugurate the Eastern Zone Regional Agricultural Fair on 19th Feb., 2015.
