In the first phase, this method is proposed to be introduced to B.Com and Computer course students. A total of 1400 marks are allotted for 28 examinations. For each examination of 50 marks 3 hours of time will be given. However, there are some doubts on the implementation of this new method for graduation. At present, this method is being implemented for Engineering courses. But there is an exemption for the first year engineering students. The main reason for this is the delay in EAMCET counselling. The admissions will be going on up to the middle of the academic year. So, the semester method is from the second year for engineering students. For other degree courses, this method is likely to be introduced from the first year itself. But even in graduation courses, the admissions will be taking place till the middle of the academic year. Some students who fail to secure admission in engineering and D.Ed courses prefer the degree courses in the last minute. Khammam: Devotees beware.
