Are you ready?
Disability services providers in NSW are fast approaching one of the most defining years for transition to the National
Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
In July 2016, the NDIS will begin rolling-out across NSW, forever changing the landscape for disability service provision
in NSW. The sector has an increasingly complex reform agenda to contend with. Major transformation is taking place at
national, state and community levels, requiring greater innovation than ever before.
Organisations are continuing the NDIS readiness journey which is happening as the NSW Government exits from service
provision. Clearer expectations for inclusion are being placed on the broader NSW community. Organisations need to be
market ready, confident and equipped to engage with a larger and more diverse customer base.
This is a time to think about what change your organisation can make on the outside from the inside. How will your
organisation flourish under the NDIS? Partnerships across the community sector, business planning and engaging with
cultural change will ultimately strengthen the quality of disability services.
The conference aims to provide practical information and conversations to propel you into 2015 and beyond. As Day 1
of the conference kicks off, there will be exactly ‘500 days and counting’ until the NDIS comes to a town near you!

by Monday 19 January to ensure availability. Delegates will need to organise their own personal support. The venue is

Terms and conditions
Cancellations
Any cancellations should be made in writing to NDS and will be charged an administration fee of $50. Full refunds will
be paid up to Monday 26 January. If you are unable to attend, substitute delegates from the same organisation are
welcome. Please advise us of any cancellations or transfers in writing to [email protected].
No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the conference and conference cocktail function.
Liability
In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, NDS is unable to accept responsibility for loss
of monies incurred by delegates. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to both personal and
travel insurance.
