CARAVAN DERBY CONDITIONS:

Vehicles must be of mono (normal) construction and in standard condition, including wheels, steering, driveline motor
suspension. Radiators to remain in original position
Any modifications or alterations to gain advantage are expressly forbidden
All external chrome work and protruding objects must be removed. All glass must be removed (not broken). Bull Bars etc
NOT ALLOWED.
All internal mats, hooding rear seats, rear view mirror and all internal door handles to be removed.
Battery may be moved, but must be securely fastened and covered by rubber
All doors to be bolted, welded or wired. Boot and bonnet to be wired or strapped.
Full safety harness (or 2-lap sash). Driver must wear protective clothing (overalls or driving suit) and approved crash helmet.
Roll cage optional. No forward or rearward bracing of roll cage allowed. Interior of cars to be cars to be swept clean as well
as boot compartment.
All vehicles bearing sign writing or drawings deemed to be offensive will not be permitted to run.
Lead weights, cement or laden objects of any sort are not permitted.
Only 4 ltrs of fuel allowed only.
Allocated number must be clearly painted on both sides and roof in bold letters not less than 45cm high.
All cars must have thick wire mesh protection in the cabin of the car in every window.
All vehicles to be at the track no later than ONE HOUR PRIOR TO START OF THE MEETING for scrutineering and cars not
complying with these conditions as listed will not be allowed to compete.
Competitors found to have breached any of the conditions or rules after the event, will be disqualified and forfeit any prize
money and/or any awards, trophies etc
If you chosen number is taken, a number will be allocated to you.
SPECIAL TRACK RULES
1. DO NOT HIT ANY OTHER OPPONENT IN THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR
2. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ATTEMPT TO GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE, UNLESS THE RED LIGHTS ARE
ON AND THE EVENT IS STOPPED
3. ALL ENTRANTS MUST BE ATTEMPTING TO CRASH AT ALL TIMES OR THEY MAY BE DEEMED TO BE FOXING AND
DISQUALIFIED
4. ALL TIMBER AND PLY WOOD TO BE REMOVED FROM THE VAN LEAVING IT AN ALUMINIUM SHELL.
5. All cars to be scrutineered by 4.30pm or will not compete.

No nomination fee, a $35 license fee (if you’re not a Speedway Australia member) plus pit entry.
The prize money will be $750.00 most spectacular & $250 for the Best Presented.

the promotion and/or organisation and/or conduct of the meeting; including owners and lessees of the grounds and
owners/drivers of the vehicle and other vehicles are absolved from all liability arising out of accidents causing damages or
