T&C: By signing this form I acknowledge that the event sponsors, race directors, or any person involved
in the organisation of the event shall not be liable for any injury, accidents, loss or any damage suffered
by me in or by reason of the event, however it may be caused. I am healthy and have no known medical
conditions or any other reason why I should not participate in the event. If the run is cancelled, only the
run fee will be refunded, the race committee are not responsible for any other costs incurred by me.

Conditions and Race Instructions
By entering the run/walk you agree to the Conditions of Entry and any race instructions given
to you by the organisers and officials on the day of the event.
Chip-Timing
The 10K/5K Run/Walk will include be chip-timed. In order to have your time recorded you
must PRINT your name on the entry form and you must wear your race number on the front
(use four pins to secure at each corner). You must participate in the event you registered for.
Results will be posted on www.precisiontiming.net after the event.
Data Protection
The Run/Walk complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and you have the right of access
to your personal records held on our computer.
Run Cancellation
In the event that this event is cancelled or delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, we will
endeavour to stage the event at a later date. In such circumstances, we will try to let you
know of the cancellation or delay as soon as possible. Our entire liability in respect of all
costs and expenses you may incur as a result of such cancellations or delay will be the entry
price you have paid to take part in the event.
For Reasons of Safety
No entries are permissible from people on roller skates or horses.
Medical Conditions
If you have not exercised before or for some time, consult a doctor for a check up.
It is recommended that you follow a training plan and prepare for the challenge.
Use of Image
By entering the race you give permission for the free use of your name, voice or picture in
any broadcast, advertising, promotion or other school event.
Entry Fees
This includes registration on the day.
Entry Fee: 10K €15, 5K €15.
Registration through the school: You may place the completed entry form and entry fee in
the box in the Secretary’s office in the school.
Registration is open on the morning of the event in the school gym 10 – 12 noon. Preregistered participants (through www.precisiontiming.net or through the school) can collect
their race number during registration from the Pre-Registered Desk. PLEASE DO NOT
COMPLETE AN ADDITIONAL ENTRY FORM.
Prizes
There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, male and female finishers in both the 10K and the
5K. All finishers in both events will receive a medal.
Route for the 10K Run/Walk

Start Time 12.30 p.m.
Carrick
Road
Water Stations; 3K, 5K, 8K and 10K.
The 10k Run/Walk starts on Ross Lane.
The 10k Run/Walk finishes on the athletics track
at the school.
Please follow the stewards instructions at all times.
There will be refreshments in the school gym after the run/walk where
prizes (Trophies and Medals) will be presented upon the completion of
the event.
Note: The 5K run/walk starts on Ross Lane and finishes on the
athletics track (take a right on the track upon your return to the school)
St. Clare’s Comprehensive 10K Route
The run/walk starts on Ross Lane (at the lamp-post opposite the
athletics track).
Take a right on to the R280 (Manorhamilton – Drumkeerin Road.
Take a right on to the L6169 Cloonlougher Road.
Follow this road, after the bridge take a right (Cloonaquin)
At the end of this road, the N16, take a right going in the direction of
Manorhamilton. (New Line)
The route follows this road until you reach the roundabout (Clooneen
Park). You must go around the roundabout, take a right - moving in the
direction of town, downhill towards Supervalu.
Take a left (Monkey Row) left again (Carrick Road) take a right up the
hill and right in the school gates.
Take an immediate left on to the athletics track and you finish at the
bottom of the track.
St. Clare’s Comprehensive 5K Route
Line up behind the 10k participants (See 5K Sign).
Start on Ross Lane; 2.5k on the Carrick Road (same route as the 10K)
Turn around at 2.5k – there is a marker on the road and you will be
directed back by the stewards.
