Manulife Philippines MDRT membership rises 16 percent year-on-year in 2014
MDRT represents best-of-the-best financial services professionals globally
Manulife to host exclusive Manulife MDRT PEAK Convention in Bangkok
Manila – Manulife membership of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) climbed 16 percent
year-on-year in the Philippines in 2014, and almost doubled in size from three years earlier, demonstrating
the increasing client-centric focus and high standards of service by Manulife advisers.
Recognized as the global financial industry benchmark for the highest levels of professionalism,
productivity and client service, MDRT represents the elite of financial services professionals from around
the world.
"With the planned agency expansion throughout the Philippines to better service clients, effective training
of existing and new agents, as well as leaders, is a priority,” said Ryan Charland, President & Chief
Executive Officer, Manulife Philippines.
“For example, we began conducting our training courses under an innovative digital programme called
‘Green 7 Protocol’ which will equip all recruits with the skills and knowledge needed to help their clients
with their most important financial decisions.”
In 2014 Manulife MDRT membership grew by 22 percent from the year before, almost doubling from 2011.

advisers across Asia qualified for MDRT. Our advisers in the Philippines are at the heart of Manulife’s

Manulife to host Bangkok convention
As a sign of its commitment to MDRT, Manulife will host the exclusive Manulife MDRT PEAK Convention,
Manulife’s biggest agency distribution event ever globally, which will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from
February 28th to March 3rd.
Approximately 2,000 Manulife advisers and executives from across Asia will head to the education
convention, dedicated to building the skills and knowledge of the company’s high performing advisers. Top
advisers will be recognized at a special Gala dinner.
