For the rest of the family there is a pleasant circular walk, a section of which is wheelchair accessible, plus several lovely picnic areas along the way offering wonderful views and a place for you to relax at. The reservoir and surrounding land is also home to a vast array of wildlife and wild flowers. It is a key site for wading birds and wildfowl and juvenile ospreys practicing their fishing skills can often be observed.
