Mike Peluso Named Assistant General Counsel
Mike Peluso has been named Senior Vice President
and Assistant General Counsel at Busey—working
out of the 100 W. University Ave. location in
Champaign. Mike assists the General Counsel in
legal oversight—minimizing risk to First Busey
Corporation and its subsidiaries.
After Mike received a bachelor’s degree from Cornell
University in Ithaca, New York in 2006, he continued
his education at the University of Chicago where he
earned his Juris Doctor in 2009. With expertise in
syndicated finance, Peluso brings a wealth of
knowledge to Busey.
Born in Hinsdale, Mike moved to Champaign-Urbana
in 2015 where he resides with his wife Sarah and
their son Milo.
