As a member of a Maine Championship Team
(NENSA J2 Festival, NENSA Eastern High School
Championships, USSA Junior Nationals) you are invited to apply for the Maine Winter Sports Center
Junior Racing Team for the 2015-2016 season!
The MWSC Junior Racing Team focuses on providing Maine juniors (ages 15-20) the skills and training needed to become nationally and internationally
competitive nordic athletes in both cross-country
skiing and biathlon.

As many of you near the end of high school and look
to your future, collegiate skiing can often seem out
of reach. At MWSC, we offer a Gap Year Program
for athletes who show the dedication and potential
to excel in cross-country skiing or biathlon.

the MWSC coaching staff to ensure proper delivery
of training. All athletes will be required to maintain

Team fees for the Junior Team total $3,300 for the entire year, and include personalized training plan, all
coaching, team uniform, and transportation, room
and board at camps and race trips. Additionally, we
offer a summer only ($800) and a winter program
($1500) aimed at high school racers. Financial aid
and championship event scholarships are available
to athletes and families.
